Second Chances – (Chapter: Like You'll Never See Me Again)

“Spencer!” Ashley called out in her sleep. She kept on having dreams that she couldn’t save Spencer in time. Ashley didn’t want to think about what would happen if she didn’t save her.

“Ash, are you ok?” Ashley heard a voice next to her say.

“Spencer?!” Ashley asked fully awake now.

“Yeah, last time I checked,” Spencer said.

Luke was right, Ashley thought. Spencer is here. It’s too good to be true.

“Spencer I love you so much,” Ashley said getting up and surrounding Spencer in a bear hug.

“I love you too,” Spencer replied. “Ash, you’re choking me,” she said into the hug.

“Sorry,” Ashley said pulling away from her.

“It’s okay,” Spencer said smiling. “Now to more serious business, are sure you’re okay?” Spencer said going from smiling to having a more concerned look on her face.

“Just peachy,” Ashley said smiling. “I just had bad dream, but I’m fine now that you’re here.”

“You had me worried there for a second,” Spencer said snuggling into Ashley.

It’s all surreal, Ashley thought. Yesterday before Luke I would have never thought that Spencer would in my arms again.

“I love so much Ash,” Spencer said.

“I love so so much,” Ashley said kissing Spencer’s forehead.

They stayed like that for a while. Then, Spencer decided since they were up so early they might as well have breakfast. While Spencer went to get the food ready, Ashley stayed back in bed. She had a phone call to make.

“Hey Aiden, it’s Ashley. I need your help with something very important. Call me back soon.” Ashley put her phone and grabbed her robe. She got out of bed and out it on. Then, she went into the kitchen. Before she got all the way in she stopped dead in her tracks. Spencer looked so beautiful. The sun coming in from the window glowed perfectly on her delicate features. Ashley walked in behind Spencer and gave her a hug.

“Hey,” Spencer said smiling. Ashley placed a kiss on her face. Then, she started kissing every part of Spencer she could. Spencer turned around and started kissing Ashley back. Soon they were in a heated make out session.

“Ash,” Spencer moaned into the kiss. “The food,” Spencer said. Reluctantly Ashley pulled away from the kiss. She rested her forehead on Spencer’s. One week Ashley thought, only a week.

“I have an idea,” Ashley said grinning.

“What’s your idea.” Spencer said turning to start serving their breakfast.

“Let’s go on a vacation!” Ashley said excitedly.

“Ash, we can’t just go on a vacation,” Spencer said sitting down at the table.

    “Why?” Ashley asked.

“We just went to Cancun last month,” explained she.

“It’s not like I don’t have the money,” Ashley told her girlfriend.

“I know that, but even if we have money, we can’t spend it all by going on these wild vacations whenever we want to.”

“I know you care about the money situation and all Spencer. But if you haven’t heard, I’m Ashley Davies.”

“Alright, fine we can go,” Spencer said shaking her head while smiling at the same time.

“Great! So now I was thinking about going skiing,” Ashley said.

“I’m up for skiing,” Spencer told Ashley while taking a sip of her coffee.

Of course she would be up for skiing, Ashley thought. It is her favorite thing to do. Even though I don’t want to think about it, if I can’t save Spencer, I want her to have the best time ever. This week is going to be all about her.

“Let’s go shopping for stuff this afternoon,” Spencer said. “Ash are you sure you’re ok?” Spencer asked seeing the tears that were falling from her girlfriend eyes.

“I’m fine, I’m just happy. That’s all,” Ashley said smiling at Spencer.
