“Lay down.”

I’ve never seen this side of Aiden before and I’m scared shitless. I’m not very sure about what he’s going to do with me or Ashley. On the way over to my house, she tried to hit him again but he grabbed her arm and nearly broke it. We quitely sneaked into my room through the window and now I do as he commands. Laying down akwardly on the bed, I watch as he digs in his pocket for something. He pulls out two pairs of handcuffs. What the fuck is Aiden doing with those? He walks over to Ashley, who is standing protectively beside me.

“Aiden what are you doing?”

“Shut up, Spencer.”

“Don’t tell her to shut up you fucking bastard!” I can tell Ashley is on edge right now.

He sternly looks at her and snatches her arm, enclosing both of her wrists in separate handcuffs. Aiden pushes her  over to the end of my bed frame and snaps the handcuffs to the frame. Ashley is facing the bed and struggling to get loose. My eyes are stinging. What is he doing?

“Strip.”

“Oh I don’t think so!” She exclaims.

“Shut your fucking mouth. I wasn’t talking to you. I was talking to Spencer.” Aiden shouts back in her face. “Now, do it.”

The tears are now freely flowing down my face. I remove my clothes, ignoring Ashley’s pleas not to. I’m down to my bra and underwear, when I look over at Aiden. He’s pulling down his boxers, but stops and looks back up to me. He steps over to me.

“Take them off.” I reach for them with a shaking hand. “With your teeth.” I can’t believe him. I draw my hand back and breath in, looking back at Ashley. Her sorrow brown orbs are begging me to stop this.

My bedroom door comes swinging open. “Spencer, what’s with-” Dad stops in midsentence and stares at us. He takes one look at me and his face changes. “Aiden?”

“Yes sir?”

“What are you doing with my baby girl?” My father questions walking over to us.

“Uh, well, I was-”

“Get out of my house.”

“But-”

“Now!”

“Ok, ok” Aiden stumbles over himself and finds his clothing.

Just as he’s about to leave, my dad stops him. “The keys.” He tosses over the handcuff keys and lets Ashley free. Aiden is now out of sight.

“Are you two ok?”

“Yeah Dad. We’re fine.” I assure his, as my brunette wipes a tear off my cheek. Just then my mom enters the room.

“Art, what happened?”

“I don’t think I should talk about it.”

“Ok…” She spots Ashley. “Why are you here?”

“Well you see-”

“Were you with my daughter? Be honest.”

“Yes.” She confesses, hanging her head.

“Please leave.”

Ashley’s eyes meet mine. “I’m so sorry Spence.”

“It’s not your fault.”

“Yes it is. If I didn’t have a stupid craving for stupid Snickers, then we wouldn’t have bumped into Aiden and we wouldn’t be here right now.”

“Ashley.” Mom calls.

“Ok I’m- I’m leaving.”

As she walks out of my room, my mom whispers something to her. I couldn’t hear, but I don’t think it was a good thing, considering Ashley’s face dropped even more. With one final glaze at me, she exits the room.

“I told you I didn’t want you seeing her.”

“I know Mom, but-”

“No buts. Your in deep doo-doo now, missy. No phone, no computer, no-”

“Paula, lets just save this for the morning.”

She sighs. “You’re right. We’ll talk first thing tommorow. Don’t think I’ll forget, Spencer.”

“Oh, I know you won’t.”

My Ashley is gone. I didn’t get to spend my last night with her. I didn’t get to tell her how much I love her and how I always will. I won’t get to kiss her or hold her one last time. I won’t see her ever again. And it’s all because of Aiden.
