Rude Comments and Silent Tears. – (Chapter: Oh Joy.)

"Hey, Spence! Wait up!" Oh my God. Leave me alone. Aiden comes to a half next to me and huffs. "What’s up?" The freaking sky, dumbass. Now go away.

    "Oh, nothing."

"There’s never nothing going on with you." He laughs.

I roll my eyes, though not visable to him. "Well execpt for my last day in L.A being tommorow….. there’s nothing going on."

"Tommorow? Damn time sure does fly." Especially when you spend you last days with your oh-so-perfect girlfriend.

    "Yeah I know."

"Since you only got one day left in town, why don’t we go out clubing tonight." I know what you’re trying to do. You’re trying to get me to go dancing with you so that way you’ll have an excuse to rub up on me. While he gets the chance, beause after that he’ll most likey never see me again.

"Uhh, well…" I can’t tell him no. Even though I don’t wanna go, he’s still my best friend. I would much rather spend the night with a certain brunette. "Sure. Why not?"

Aiden’s smile is the biggest I’ve seen in all the time I’ve known him. "Awesome. I will see you tonight, then. I’ll pick you up at around nine."

    Oh joy.

"Hey beautiful. Ready to go?" Ashley greets me with a smile. She’s taking me home.

"Yeah." We follow the now familiar routine to get me home. The car ride is silent, but comfortable. Arriving at my house, my auburn haired goddess turns to me, putting the porshe in park.

"Want to go out tonight?" Oh god.

Looking away from her, I focuse on the floor. "Ummmm-"

"You already made plans." For the short time we’ve really gotten to know each other, she knows me better than anyone.

    "Yeah."

    "With Aiden." She’s good.

    "How’d you know?"

"I saw his talking to you when you were walking over to my car. I saw the giant grin painted on his face and knew something was up."

Shaking my head, I keep my gaze on the floor. "I’m sorry."

    "It’s fine, babe. Don’t worry."

"Believe me, I really wanted to spend tonight with you but…. it’s Aiden."

"I get it. It’s Aiden. I know." She giggles and pauses, getting serious again. "Have fun."

"Thank you." I smile, planting a lingering kiss on her cheek. I swear I love her more and more every day.

    1. ok seriously you cannot have spence leave without spending time with ash! come on now! it may have been a while but i’m still hooked on this story!

    2. Okay, this is ridiculous. Why on earth would Spencer spend her last day with of all people Aiden. He’s a blocker and he knows it. She thinks Aiden’s her friend but he’s not. She should be spending her last day with the person she’s in love with. Oh! Great update. I got kinda involved. Anyway, PMS.
