Chapter 3-

Ashley walked in the house carrying a sleeping Kali. She wished the doctors would have said the pills would work instantly because Kali was killing her.  She went upstairs and laid Kali on her bed. She then turned to clean up the mess Kali made when she fell. Ashley had to admit it was hard being a mother to her little sister, but every time she looked at Kali she knew she would not have it any other way. Kali was her heart, she was her world and Ashley was also all Kali had in this world and she would never let her down.

Ashley got up and gave Kali a kiss on the cheek before walking out the room. She then decided to go find something to order because she was starving and knew Kali would be hungry when she woke up as well.

When she got downstairs she saw that her computer was blinking that she had a message. She walked over to the computer and said down to see who would be sending her a message. It probably was another hopeless girl emailing her about her message. She really just wanted someone to talk to and every time someone messaged her back it was usually something along the lines of what she looked like. She knew where things would lead from there. But, she would try one more time. With this in mind she sat down and looked at the message from Hopefully-waiting. Cute Name.

Lonely Teen-

I know what it is like to be lonely. I have been living in a new town for the past 5 months and have yet to meet someone to talk to. I don’t get it just because I am gay everyone hates me. Anyway where was I? Oh, yea. I really loved what you wrote even though it wasn’t all that much, but it was still honest. I am 16 as well. I would love to talk to you sometime; maybe we could make a friend and not have to be so lonely anymore.

Ashley had to admit she really loved reading the message from Hopefully-waiting. She did not say much, but in those words she said enough. Ashley decided that she would write back.
