Resident Evil: Here Comes The Horror – (Chapter: Intro-The Case)
Glass doors began to close and seal; as people ran to them according to the fire drill code. It should’ve been the other way around, all exit mechanical doors should have been opening.
Camera 32s became active in the elevator as it observed it’s passengers. The young man with the coffee stained shirt heard the beeping and suddenly looked over toward’s the young lady.
"-What is that?" He asked, alarmed.
"-Fire drill." She calmly explained.
As the three technicians in lab coats walked to the exit doors three steps up, the sprinkler system burst opened. It wasn’t it’s normal pressure, but exceeding it. The young man that had had the folder in his hand, grasped the door and looked back up at the sprinklers surprised.
"Shit!" The female in the lab coat yelled behind him at the bottom of the three steps.
He turned. "-Hey, what the hell is going on?" He said, looking around confused.
"Get the computers covered!" The woman yelled, "move it!"
"Damn it! I’m trying!" He yelled back as he ran down the three steps.
"The experiments!" She frantically hollered to the other two men, "move them!"
Meanwhile, the dogs were losing their minds, to the point that they were no longer listening to human commands. Their handler yelled at them, "hey? Hey!" But they didn’t respond, as they used too. They didn’t calm down. Instinct was kicking in.
"Shouldn’t the doors open or something?" The young man with his new haircut and stain white shirt inquired, pushing forward to the buttons, spilling his much wanted coffee.
The girl walked up behind him. "It suppose to take us to the nearest floor." The lights went out as she finished her sentence and the elevator slowed down to a stop. They all looked at each other surprised. The girl was near the phone, so she picked it up, "hello?" She asked, as she began to push buttons. "Hello?"
No one answered, but camera 32s was watching them. It had the display screen of the three elevators in use. All stuck in between floors.
"Line’s dead." she said, puzzled as she hung up the elevator phone.
Camera 9F had activated. It was watching the employees all gathered by the main exit glass doors. It’s display showing DOOR LOCKING SYSTEMS ACTIVATED on the screen.
