“Who?” Spencer asked looking at the brunette with a confused look.

“Jessica…do you still love her?”

“Why are you even asking me this?” Spencer said defensively.

“Tell me…” Ashley stood and held Spencer’s face in her palms and looked intently at her. “Do you still love her?”

Spencer averted her eyes from Ashley’s. “No I don’t.”

“I don’t believe you.” Ashley said letting her hands fall to her sides.

Spencer looked at Ashley and frowned. “Why don’t you believe me?”

Ashley ran her hand through her curls and shook her head. “This day is just getting worse and worse.”

“Why is it getting worse? I tell you I don’t love Jessica and you don’t believe me…and you still haven’t told me why you took off today….if it wasn’t Sandra than what was it?” Spencer said crossing her arms.

“It was Linda.”

“Linda your ex? That Linda?” Spencer said starting to feel the jealousy boil up inside her.

“Yes…she made a large donation to the program in hopes that she would get back with me.”

“And?”

“And what Spencer?”

“Did you accept the donation?” Spencer asked looking at the brunette.

“The program could really use the money…so yes I did.”

“How do you know that she wants to get back with you? Did you talk to her?”

“Yes I called her.”

“And what did you say?”

“I told her that she needs to just back off and that we were never going to get back together. What did you think I was going to tell her?”

“I don’t know Ash…I mean you spent the last 4 years with this woman and you clearly aren’t over her if she upsets you enough that you have to leave to deal.”

“Well you aren’t over Jessica since I caught you muttering her name in your sleep. You said ‘I love her’…so do you Spencer?”

Spencer couldn’t remember what dream she was having that could have possibly involved Jessica and the topic of love. She turned around and began to rub her temples.

Ashley became frustrated and turned the blonde around demanding an answer. “Tell me! Do you love her?”
