    Pool,Paula,and…Madison?

     

    “Grocery shopping?”

     

    “Yeah.”

     

    “Ugh, at 8 a.m.?”

     

    “Would you like to starve? Or would you like nice home cooked meals?”

     

    The thought of homemade French toast entered my head, “On one condition.”

     

    “And that would be?”

     

    “You have to fix us some French toast when we get back.”

     

    Spencer smiled, “Alright, deal.” She came in closer, connecting our lips again. Only this time I felt her tongue graze my bottom lip, requesting access. I granted the request and our tongues danced a scintillating dance.

     

     

     

     

    “Spence, I think we got everything on that very, very long list of yours.” I threw a box of spaghetti into the cart.

     

    “I think you’re right.” Spencer had her pen out, checking off all the things that we had in the cart.

     

    “Can we go now? I’m starving.” I couldn’t help but whine.

     

    “I guess. Let’s go check out.”

     

    “Yes, mom.” I pushed the cart up to the front of the store.

     

    As we were putting the groceries on the conveyer belt that took them up to the cashier I couldn’t help but stare at who was working the register. She seemed so familiar. Brown hair, hazel eyes, kind of bitchy. It couldn’t be. I waited for the total to come up on the screen.

     

    “And you’re total is $175.”

     

    I pulled my bank card out of the billfold in my purse.

     

    “Is that credit or debit?”

     

    “Credit.” I slid my card through the machine. I went through all the options and then it asked for cashier verification.

     

    “I’m sorry I’m going to have to see your I.D. Miss…Davies?” She stood there puzzled for a few minutes, “Davies…Ashley Davies?”

     

    I pulled my driver’s license out, “Yeah, you’ve heard of me?”

     

    “Heard of you? Ashley we went to school together.”

     

    I looked at Spencer but she had no clue. Then I finally took a look at her name tag. Madison, “Madison Duarte?”

     

    “That’s me. So you’re back in L.A.?”

     

    “Yeah, I am. I just moved back with Spencer.”

     

    “Spencer?” She looked Spencer’s way, “Oh my god Spencer, I didn’t realize that was you! You look amazing!”

     

    Spencer’s face gave way to a shy smile, “Thanks Madison. You look good too.”

     

    “So you two are back? Well, you know, back together?”

     

    Spencer and I looked at one another and couldn’t help but smile, “Yep.”

     

    “Well, we should catch up sometime. Where are you living?”

     

    “Actually we’re staying at the Carlin house. But it’s the Carlin/Davies house now.”

     

    “Wow, well I’ll stop by sometime.” She finished the transaction, gave me my receipt and then Spencer and I left.

    1. “Because this time if she catches us in a compromising situation I can grab her by her hair and throw her out.” LOL! that episode was amazing but when paula grabbed ashley by the hair I shouted real loud:oh hell no!!! man she was so wrong for that I wish somebody would grab my hair it would be smoke in the city….oh sorry got a little caught up…great update i just love this story

    3. omfg! k, so ive kinda been on punishment for like ever now but i just caught up with this absolutely amazing story! u never fail to impress me jess but i did notice u gave ash my future career…hmmm i guess im always giving u those bursts of inspiration…PMS!!! ill seriously have 2 kick ur ass if u dont-Tiff
