Never had Spencer felt more fake. She pretended she was okay, and no one asked any questions either. Except Aiden.
“What the hell are you doing?”
Spencer jerked her head up at her abrupt entrance. Aiden looked completely livid as he slammed the door behind him.
“You are an idiot,” he growled. Aiden crossed the small, cluttered office and came face to face with the blonde-haired girl.
“Thanks a lot,” Spencer replied derisively with a scowl. Aiden grabbed Spencer by the shoulders and shook her hard. Spencer was confused by his actions and words. “What are you doing? Why are you here?”
“Why are you?” Aiden shook the blonde again harder. “It’s Christmas, you dumb shit!”
“I know.” Spencer tried to scoot her chair back away from the very scary man. “You should be home with your family.” For some reason, Aiden’s face turned a deep shade of red. “Uh, Aiden, what’s wrong?”
Spencer never expected what came next. Aiden had sharply backhanded her across the cheek. Spencer brought a hand to cover her reddened flesh. She couldn’t figure out what was happening. She had agreed to work on Christmas since she really had nothing else to do and there’s a Victoria’s Secret Christmas photo shoot to do. Then she went through several bouts of photographs. Now, Aiden was seething enough to slap her.
“I’m confused, Aiden,” Spencer voiced her inner thoughts.
“You–! You kept your mouth shut this entire month!” Aiden yelled. “That’s so unlike you. You usually blab everything, even if it isn’t interesting at all.”
“What are you talking about!”
“UH, how about something called an engagement!”
“Oh.”
“Oh? OH! Are you kidding me?” Aiden grabbed the smaller girl by the shoulder and pulled her to her feet. “God help me, or I swear I’ll kill you.”
“You’re mad at me because I didn’t tell you?”
“No! I’m mad because you—” His tone softened considerably. “You’re letting this happen.”
“It’s not my choice.”
Aiden chuckled. “Yes, it is.”
“How so?”
Aiden’s green eyes darkened. “You love her.”
Spencer’s eyes widened in shock, but she tried to cover the action like she was surprised Aiden could even think that. “No, I don’t. I can’t.”
“You can and you do.”
“…How did you find out?” Spencer whispered, her eyes downcast.

By the sounds of things Spencer has made her feelings fairly well known. I think it’s time for both of them to cut the crap and to face the fact that Spencer is in love and Ashley knowns damn well why she is so upset! Please get them together soon this is really sad!
