    That’s when I begin jumping up and down like a 4 year old and squeal, “Welcome to the Happiest Place on Earth, Ash!!!”

    Okay, so it’s time to get this show on the road. I walk into what we call our bedroom and I watch her sleep for a couple of minutes. No matter how many times I stare at her, she always takes my breath away. Stop drooling, Carlin and get going. So how do you want to wake her up? Nice and easy or scare her half to death? Decisions, decisions. Let’s have some fun.

    “Wake up, Ash!! Wakey, wakey!!” I shriek as I begin to jump up and down on the bed.

    That did the trick because she sits straight up in bed and screeches, “I’m up!! I‘m up!!”

    I just grin as I look down at her and say cheerfully, “Get up, baby. We’re going out today.”

    She yawns wide, rubs the sleep out of her eyes and mutters, “What time is it?”

    “Six, now get up beautiful.” I say as I continue to jump up and down on the bed

    “As in six am?” She growls as she glares up at me

    “Yep, get a move on.” I grin as I keep jumping

    She groans, mutters something I can’t quite catch and probably I didn’t and lies back down pulling the covers over her head. I go down on my knees, begin to get into a tug of war with her over the covers and whine, “Come on, Ash. It’s getting late. Please get up.”

    She pulls the covers down so that she can look at me and glowers, “Where on earth could we be going that it’s getting late at 6 am in the morning on a Saturday might I add?”

    “It’s a surprise. Now come on, get up. Pretty please,” I say as I stick out my lip in what I hope is a pouting way while I give her my best puppy dog eyes.

    She takes one look at me and she moans but begins to get up. Score!!! She walks over to the bathroom and before she closes the door she asks, “So where are we going?”

    “It’s a surprise,” I say happily as I begin to make the bed

    “So how am I supposed to know how to dress?” She calls out

    “Jeans, shirt, very comfortable shoes, a warm sweater for later and that should do it.” I call back

    2. It was an awesome chapter. It was needed for Ash to go to the cemetary for her to have some sort of closure and to move on with her life since Aiden was a major part of her life. I’m happy Spencer is there for Ashley throughout this tough time and yay for Disneyland even though I’ve never been there. PMASAP.

    4. This chapter was so not disappointing…I mean come on who doesn’t like Disneyland??? Well actually Im a Disneyworld girl myself so I can totally relate to spencer lol. Anyways your writing is awesome keep up the great work as usual and look foward to the 2nd part of this chapter. Fluff away!!!!! :)

    6. Once again no sleep = first comment. I wasn’t disappointed at all. You are actually taking care of everything and doing the things that make sense, unlike the show lol. I’m ready for the fluff but still liked this chapter. PMS!!!

    7. i wasn’t disappointed one bit. that was an amazing chapter. and i agree it was sort of needed before jumping into anything else. if that makes sense. ha! but it was way sad when they went to the cemetary. poor ashley and spencer too. aiden really messed her up. it makes me smile though that spencer is there to help her get through those times and become a happier person. and disneyland! awesome! (= great great update!! PMASAP! this story is seriously one of the BEST i’ve ever read ..

    9. this is definatly m favourite story right now.that was a great chapter!dont be afraid to go to 10 pages,there is absolutly nothing wrong with that!;)
