Nowheresville – (Chapter: Breaking Out Is Hard To Do: Chapter 11)

Prevoiusly-  Spencer made a tornado and used it to carve "Ashley" in the basketball court. Ashley devised a plan to break out and get back to Spencer.

    Spencer’s POV

I am up in my room scrying for Ashley.  I’m doing the West coast now. Still no luck. If she’s not in the U.S I’ll never find her. I’ve gotten a lot smarter in the past 5 months. Since that Sunday I haven’t done anything but scry and study. I had to do something to keep my mind off of IT. There’s only a month left of school and the principle said he’s going to have me skipped up to 9th grade when school starts again. I don’t really want to start high school with out her but I might have to. I still wear black and I let the blonde grow out of my hair (I’m really a brunette.). I died it black a few days ago. My mom said, "Spencer go change your hair back right now!". I just looked at her and left the house. When my dad saw it he said "Good morning honey! Are you ok you look a little pale?". Glen just grimaced, sighed and went the other way. He hasn’t talked to me since I made him fall down the stairs.

    Knock-Knock-Knock

"I’m busy, go away!" I yell in the direction of the door.

"Spencer we need to talk!" I hear Glen say angrily from outside the door. I flick my wrist at it and the lock turns.

"Whatever! Just make it quick, I have things to do." I say as he comes into my room.

"Spencer are you, ok? You just ain’t been right since school started. Are you having sex ?" Glen says taking a seat in my computer chair.

"Eeewww! Glen! NO! I’m not! Nothing’s wrong, I’m ok." I say hoping this will satisfy him.

"No, Spencer! You’re not ok. You…. You stay up here all the time. I never see you at Mass. None of your friends come around. You wear black. Your hair’s all black. What happened to you?" He says avoiding my eyes.

    "So." is my only remark.

"So. So! So is all you have to say? Spencer you’re different. You haven’t smiled in months, you hardly ever say more than 3 words. What’s going on with you? Are you on drugs, smoking, failing, what? Just tell me!" Glen says angrily his face red with frustration.
