Not The Type – (Chapter: Right Or Wrong)

“Do you usually get stared at when you come in here?” I ask Spencer as I try to hold the little shopping basket.  Does she really not see how the guy at the counter can’t take his eyes off of us?

“What?” I roll my eyes and slap her on the ass with my free hand.

“Pay attention,” I move my hand to hold onto her back pocket. “Do that guy at the counter usually stare you down when you come in her? If so I’m going to have to forbid you to come back to this place.”

“Shut up. He’s nice, don’t worry.” She starts to move away from the candy. I keep my hand in her back pocket and look over my shoulder at the guy at the counter. Now he’s frowning.

I dislike shopping with Spencer a lot. She takes forever and a day to make up her mind about the simplest stuff. That’s why it’s not until ten minute later that we’re approaching the counter that the rude guy is standing behind.

“Hey,” Spencer says smiling. The guy ignores her and continues to ring up all the junk she took her and my time selecting. Spencer frowns at the man’s behavior.

“You should walk to my house and get your car?” I whisper in Spencer’s ear as I step up behind her, putting my hands on her hips.

“No. It’s only a couple of blocks, babe.” Spencer laughs when I pout and bury my face in her neck.

“$12.65.” The man behind the counter barks.

“What?” I put my hand over Spencer’s, stopping her from handing this bastard her money.

    “Ash…”

“No.” I push her hand away from the counter. “Look dude,” Damn Jordan. “You’ve been giving me the stink eye since I walked in here. If you got a problem just say it.” He looks down at my hand on Spencer’s hip. “What…you didn’t know this nice blonde had a girlfriend?”

“To be honest, no.” He smirks at Spencer. “She doesn’t look like the type to be hooking up with some little girl. She needs to spend some time with some real men. Spencer here seems like I nice girl who would enjoy a nice di…”

“Shut the fuck up!” I gentle push Spence to the side.

    2. i loved that you presented the fight this way- where things dont have to get overly dramatic or nasty. it was absolutely realistic and im sure many lesbian couples have had the same discussion/argument. i really like reading about everyday life kinda stuff with spashley :)
