As they drove the winding roads that led them to the coast, Spencer felt relief wash over her. She had felt its beginnings as soon as she settled into the passenger seat of Ashley’s convertible. Now, with the wind flowing through her blonde locks and her girlfriend sitting beside her loudly belting out the harmonies to one Purple Venom song after another, she felt it completely.
“So, I was thinking that after we get settled, there’s this great little place we could go for lunch. They have the best chowder ever. Oh my God, it’s amazing. Then maybe we could…”
“Stop.”
“What? What’s wrong?” Ashley said, instantly anxious.
“You’re doing it again.”
“What am I doing?”
“You’re planning,” Spencer said, inhaling the scent of the salty ocean air before turning back towards a smiling Ashley Davies, “And we’re not here to make plans. We’re here to make love.”
“I like your idea better…but the chowder is really awesome.”
“We can eat chowder.”
“We can?”
“We can…I’m sure all the love making will leave us positively starving.”
“Good,” Ashley said, giving the road her full attention again, “good…”
Twenty minutes later, they were pulling into Ashley’s driveway. Spencer could barely wait for the car to stop before she went running towards the water, discarding her clothes as she went. By the time she reached wet sand, all she was wearing was a giant smile and a bikini.
“Whoa! Wait for me!” Ashley said, catching up to the blonde and planting a soft kiss on her waiting lips.
“This is beautiful!” Spencer exclaimed, looking out into the large expanse of blue before her.
Ashley was excited to be there with the ocean lapping against her feet, but at this moment she only wanted to look into the large, blue expanse of Spencer’s eyes.
“Come here,” the brunette said, pulling Spencer in for another kiss, “I want you to see the house.”
“Ok, let’s go.”
Ashley led the way back towards the large, white beach house. As soon as she opened the door, Spencer let out a strange sound of pleasure.
“This is incredible!”
“Yeah, it’s one of the better things my dad left me in his will. Wait until you see the room we’ll be staying in.”
They walked up a set of stairs and into a large room surrounded by huge floor-to-ceiling windows.
“Oh my God! I can’t believe we’re staying here!”
“For three long, perfect days of nothing but you, me, and the ocean,” Ashley said, collapsing on the bed.
Spencer slowly slid up her lover’s length, stopping once their mouths were perfectly even, touching lightly.
“Kiss me,” Ashley demanded softly.
“Make me,” Spencer answered rebelliously.
“I shouldn’t have to.”
Spencer challenged the brunette with her eyes, hoping that her own eyes conveyed how happy she was…how there was nowhere else she wanted to be.
She finally pressed her lips hard against Ashley’s, reveling in the sensation. Ashley slipped her hands down the back of the blonde’s bikini bottoms. She wanted Spencer as close as possible.
“Wait,” Spencer said, lifting her head slightly, “I thought you wanted chowder.”
“Who cares about chowder?” Ashley said, untying the strings of Spencer’s bikini top.

Yay for Spashley quality time! Still a tad bit worried about Lindsay though. I don’t think that little issue was really resolved yet. Lindsay was pretty persistent. Great update! I love this story.
