As spencer had just buttoned her pants in a nervouse frenzy of trying to get ready for school, she felt arms hold her around her waist. It wasnt long before she felt lips on her neck and shoulders. She tried just ignoring it, but ashley seemed to be enjoying it more than her. She zipped up her pants and headed towards the closet for a shirt.

She was searching through the rack of endless shirts and jackets until she found one she liked. She took it off the hanger and began to put it on. When she had it over two arms and was about to put it over her head, she saw ashley leaning on the frame of the door with a worried look on her face. She froze and asked. "Whats wrong ashley?" Spencer wanted to know but honestly already did.

"I want to know whats going on with you. Me. Us. Something isnt going right." Ashley admitted. Her voice sounded like she had fallen. Metaphorically speaking. She sounded like a falen angel that had left the clouds in the sky and plumited to her death happening toland in that very spot.

Spencer took the shirt off and began rummaging for another one. "I just- I dont know." Spencer never once looked ashley in the eye. It hadnt gone unoticed.

"spencer im not stupid." ashley said raising her voice only a small amount but lowering it again. "You and i were going to…and then you took care of the kids and i was asleep, then you decide not to, then i try again, you dont want to, and finally i try the third time in the shower and you give in. But the second i try to kiss you after that, you close up and pull away." Ashleys eyes were full of hurt and sadness. She didnt have any tears, she had let them fall throughout the night when spencer was sleeping. "I just want an answer, spence." Ashley admitted.

Spencer found a shirt and put it over her head and walked out of the closet pushing past ashley keeping silent for a moment. She felt ashleys eyes burning a hole through her skin and into her organs. It burned like fire and spencer hated it. Knowing she was hurting ashley with every second she didnt answer. Something inside of her told her that it was because she didnt know HOW to answer. And she didnt. She really didnt.
