    It’s Ashley’s birthday and she gets a surprise!

    Things between the foursome had slipped into a regular routine. Ashley and Spencer had not spoken about their stolen kiss and things were getting back to normal with them. However the duo could not help but think Sophia and Aiden were a little distant. The new addition to the group had been shocked when Ashley had rang and arranged for them to make another date. She had been sure the call was to break things off, she didn’t understand. Aiden on the other hand was pleased that maybe he still had a shot with the blonde.

    “Happy birthday.” The three shouted as Ashley came to the table rolling her eyes as everyone in the quad turned and looked at her. In the middle of the table sat a cup cake with a single candle in it. Spencer had bought it in and Sophia was a little hurt that she had not thought about the same thing.

    “What is that, you lot could afford a bigger one?” Ash said as she sat in front of the small cake.

    “Shut up and blow.” Spencer said laughing. “Don’t forget to make a wish.” They watched as Ashley thought for a second before closing her eyes and blowing the single flame out. All three of them had an idea of what they thought she could have made a wish for. “What did you wish for?” An excited blonde asked, she loved it when it was people‘s birthdays.

    “well if I tell you it won’t come true, blah blah blah.” Ash said she wasn’t so thrilled about her birthday, it was just another year older.

    “So what’s going on tonight, birthday girl?” Aiden asked.

    “Well I have my slot tonight it’s between nine and ten.” She explained apart from that she was still unclear about the nights plans.

    “Well I’m gonna take you out for something to eat before that.” Sophia said running her hand down Ashley’s leg. Spencer caught the act and turned her eyes away and felt a little jolt in her stomach but pushed past it.

    “Ok, just as long as we get there in time.” Ashley said before looking to the other people sitting with them. Her eyes ran over Spencer her vision lingering on her lips for a moment and then felt guilty when she sensed the warm from Sophia’s hand. “So where are my presents?”
