Spencer and Melody were sitting at the quad. “Why did you hit Ashley earlier today?” questioned Melody with concern.
“Your girlfriend needs to learn to leave me alone,” Spencer snapped. “She seriously needs to learn English. Besides, all I gave her was a busted lip. She’s still living, isn’t she? She’s lucky that I was being nice to her and she didn’t have any broken bones.”
“I know you have your issues that you still need to work out, but you need to find some sort of common ground to have something to bond over,” pointed out Melody.
“Common ground and bonding used in the same sentence?” Spencer scoffed. “You’ve got to be kidding me. The only thing that we have in common these days is that we talk to you. Other than that there is nothing else. A lot has changed within the course of a year.”
“I really like her, Spence,” sighed Melody. “I want things to work out between her and me. She’s really important to me.”
“I don’t know why you like her to begin with,” Spencer responded. “What do you possibly see in her? She’s a complete loser.”
“You liked her not too long ago,” pointed out an annoyed Melody. “So you saw something in her, too.”
“No, I didn’t,” Spencer stated. Melody gave Spencer an unconvinced look. “Look, I don’t know who told you that, but I never had any romantic feelings for Ashley.”
“Yes, you did,” sighed Melody. “I don’t know why you’re lying to me, but Ash told me that you used to like her and that you went out on a date. I know that things went downhill from there and I’m sorry that it did.”
“Yeah, so I liked her for about five seconds, that’s all,” Spencer said. “It wasn’t a date that we went on since she wanted to go, but her idea of a lame joke with Madison.”
“Ash wants to make things work out so you can be friends again, Spence,” explained Melody. “Everyone deserves a second chance.”
“It’s too late for that,” Spencer stated angrily.
“No, it’s not,” responded Melody.
“Yes, it is,” Spencer retorted. “She wouldn’t talk to me for a year. She pretended that I wasn’t even visible when she saw me in the halls. She didn’t apologize or anything. Why should I be civil to her now?”

i kind of like spencer still being angry with ash and making it really difficult cuz if someone humilated me in front of the school and stuff well i’d be a lot worse than spencer that’s for sure well i don’t know if i’d actually hit the person but man i’d make them work hella hard to earn my trust…but i’m glad ash is still trying to be friends with her…pms

I think Spencer has a right to be mad hat mad no but mad yes she should at leas try and and act civil around her. And Mel well she needs to step up and star being a good girlfriend I mean really you don’t just let your friend hit your girlfriend thats just not right. Ashley well I get that Ashley is really trying to make an effort here but what I don’t think she gets is that she REALLY hurt Spencer and that it doesn’t matter how nice she is to Spencer right now she is going to be bitch to her until she warms up to the fact that she is going to be around for a little while. great job.

I get that Ashley hurt Spencer really bad, but Spencer is taking things too far. First off, she had no right to hit Ashley like that, and what suprised m even more is that Mel didn’t yell at her or do anything…I would have blown the fuck up if a friend of mine did that to my girlfriend….What happened is in the past. I don’t believe in violence either, but I do think that Ashley had it comming. But, now that it’s over, Spencer should really ease off-she’s probably still in love with Ashley, maybe that’s why she’s still so angry. Hmmm…liking it. PMS cheers mate.
