More Than Meets The Eye – (Chapter: Chpt. 2)
3:00 pm…bell rings to signal the end of the school day
The blonde walks through the hallways of King High, heading straight for the exit, reaching in her pocket for her cell phone.
Spencer Carlin had gotten so side tracked when she ran into the beamer-driving brunette earlier, she didn’t even realize that she had never gotten her own cell phone back.
Shit! She thought as she walked through the parking lot, digging through her bag hoping to find it there.
No luck.
“Great, must be halfway to fuckin China by now,” Spencer mumbled out loud as her car came into view.
“What the…” she added when she found a surprise waiting for her at her car.
There the pistol-toting brunette was, all smiles, leaning up against the red colored Honda Accord, arms folded.
Spencer tilted her head to the side slightly, confused look on her face as she returned the smile.
“What are you doing here?” she asked.
“At King? Well I’m still trying to figure that out. This school…way clicky if you know what I’m saying,” Ashley replied, ignoring the obvious question that Spencer was asking.
The blue-eyed girl laughed.
“But that’s not what you were asking…” Ashley said, standing up off of the other girl’s car.
“I found this on the ground in the hallway after you walked off and I figured it might be yours,” she added, pulling a cell phone out of the back pocket of her skirt.
“Wow, thank you, I was just about to freak out because I couldn’t find it!” Spencer replied emphatically, a feeling of pure relief coming over her as she looked the phone ever.
“No problem, I would’ve given it back sooner but you know, I had no idea how to contact you, so I figured hmm..guess I better find that red Honda I almost hit this morning,” Ashley said with a grin.
“That would be a good place to start,” Spencer started off. “I don’t know if I’m more surprised by the fact my phone is unharmed or by the fact you could actually find room for it in that skirt.”
“Haha touché!” the brunette said, courtesying. “Well, you know in case you ever need to I don’t know, lose something around me again, here’s my number.”
The two girls exchanged phone numbers.
“Got it. Well I’m gonna get outta here but I guess maybe I’ll bump into you tomorrow,” Spencer said, throwing one more conversational jab, before opening her car door and flashing one last smile.
“Ah…same time, same place?” Ashley countered, before turning and walking to her own car.
Once she got into her BMW, she watched Spencer drive away before making a call on her cell phone.
“We’re in,” the brunette said, and then put her car in gear.
One thing was true, there was more to this fiery brunette than met the eye.

Very Interesting… I wonder what Ashley is up to. PMS
