Ashley’s POV

Well we are finally leaving the hospital. Thank god.  I am in a ton of pain my face like really hurts and is pretty badly bruised. The doctor gave me some pain meds though and said the bruise should go away In a week or two. Spence has been great through all of this sitting in the hospital with me and everything im just glad she got to my house when she did or something else might have happened but im trying to not focus on that prick jake. He is an ass hole and the cops are going to catch him and throw his ass in jail where it belongs. I feel really bad about not telling spencer about jake. I know I should have and I know she was thinking about it when I was talking to the cops I could see it on her face. I mean he was ny long term ex and we broke up shortly before I met spencer. I had told jake I liked girls and he flipped out said that that was unacceptable I had never seen him that mad. So I left he had tried to contact me a few times and I told him I wanted nothing to do with him I was happily in love with spencer. Then when he had called me and asked if we could  talk in person I figured it would be a good way for me explain to him face to face that we were done and that I was in love  with spencer. I should have known it was a bda idea. I guess I didn’t want to talk to Spence because I didn’t want her to worry about me and to worry about me and jake talking. She knows I would never leave her but hanging out with exes even if it is just to make sure they know that you have moved on is always a touchy subject.  Not to mention the whole jake being a guy thing I mean we both have talked about old boyfriends. And have exchanged the realizing we liked girls not guys stories. Now that I think about spencer dated a jake to a long time ago when she realized she was gay. Wow that’s a really weird coincidence. It amazes me how much her and I have in common. She is drving me home now. The ride has been silent since we left the hospital.
