    A different approach. If you like my stuff, you’ll read it no matter the summary ;-)

    “So where’ve you been?” I asked.

    “Err, here?” she asked, confused at what I was getting at.

    “All weekend – I texted you, called you, even tried to talk to you online but you just ignored me,” I said, trying to remain calm but failing miserably.  I couldn’t help it – whether she realized it or not, I was crazy about her, and the idea of her doing anything with anyone but me killed me a little more every time she didn’t answer my calls or reply to my texts.  Whenever I wasn’t with her I missed her, and whenever I was with her it just wasn’t enough because I wasn’t actually with her.  I was forever craving more and more of her, and couldn’t help myself.  Nothing was ever enough.  I didn’t think I could ever have as much of her as I wanted, and the more I held off from telling her the truth, the more I was delaying any chance I ever had of at least having her to myself.  The small matter of wanting so much of her that it hurt, and perhaps wasn’t humanly possible or even decent, was something I would perhaps admit to another time.

    “I’m worried you’re starting to show stalker-like qualities, Spence,” she stated.

    “No I’m not!” I cried, trying to sound less desperate.  “Sorry for wanting to speak to my best friend.”

    “Your best friend forgives you,” she smiled, “and is flattered by being so important to you.”

    “Shut up,” I said, suddenly annoyed at how she’d managed to turn the conversation away from how she’d been ignoring me all weekend.

    “You never told me what was up, by the way,” she said, picking up the half of the wrap I’d put down due to me suddenly losing my appetite.  I could think of a million and one things that were up, most of which revolved around her.

    “It doesn’t matter,” I said, my eyes seeking out something worth my attention elsewhere in the quad.  Nothing.

    “Course it does!” she insisted, positioning herself in my line of sight.  “What’s wrong?”

    “My mom,” I blurted, the first thing that came to mind.

    “That figures,” Ash sighed, suddenly less interested again – my mom was always bugging me… or so Ash thought.  “She changed career yet?”

    1. Wow i like how spencer told ashley how she felt putting all of her feelings out there. I wonder if there going to the beach. Great story. I cant wait to see what happens next.

    2. You know, I should be very angry with you. Very angry at you starting another fic and not finishing the plethora of others you have floating around. But I can’t. ::le sigh:: I like this fic too much. …. :::shakes fist in anger::: How can you do that to them?!?! Leave unresolved Ash and Spence romances floating around the void untethered and unloved! Wondering if they’ll ever have a resolution!?!? Oh, the humanity!!!! ::sobs::

    3. gosh, do you always have to be so amazing?? guess you do! i think i might love it though…and whats with the summary? okay just becaues you know we all love you doenst mean you can rub it in…well, sure you can, you are just that amazing! i give up and surrender myself to your gift. *bows down and kisses your shoes* wait, are you even wearing shoes? gross…i just kissed your bare feet…yuck! im off to go scrub my mouth, and that could take a few days. there better be a post up from you by the time i get back!! OR ELSE! what? i cnat threaten you? dammit..

    7. Why have you stopped posting? I love your stories and any day now I’m going to die for want of lacking or something like that. I just miss the posts. :'( Terribly, terribly bad. It looked like such a good story. I know I can’t force you to write anything but I should think that encouragement is a good thing…

By saying you’re a legend OUTSIDE your lunchbox, I’m saying that I think you really ARE a complete legend and so do others. that is, it’s not just in your own head. Or lunchbox. And if you are a legend in your lunchbox i suggest removing old bananas…
