Recap

Girls cuddled and watched movies, growing more nervous with each passing second knowing what was to come.

   "Mom, Dad? Are you guys here?"
   "In here sweetheart." Arthur called out. Ashley let go of Spencers hand but Spencer grabbed it again. Ashley smiled inwardly and gave Spencer a loving look. Spencer walked them into the kitchen. Arthur and Paula were sitting on the table in idle chit chat. Arthur looked up and smiled at Spencer and Ashley. Paula glanced up and immediately saw their hands together. She wanted to know what was going on.

   "Spencer?" Paula asked with a ‘tell me what is going on’ look.
   "Mom…"  Spencer began. Paula rose from her seat and Arthur did too. "I’m…I’m gay. And Ashley is my girlfriend." Spencer finally said squeezing Ashley’s hand so tight she thought it could break.
   "No, no youre not. You’re not one of…" Paula glared at Ashley with a disugusted look. "Them, Spencer."
   "Mom, I am. Can’t you just please accept that." Spencer pleaded, her eyes on the verge of tears. Paula took a step towards her and pushed Ashley back enough to where Spencer’s hand was released.
   "NO!" Paula looked towards Ashley and took a step forward. "You, get out of my house. I will not have you manipulating my daughter with your sinful ways. GET OUT!" Paula was about to lunge and Ashley when Spencer stepped in the way. Arthur took this as a sign to grab Paula’s arms.
   "Don’t even think about it mom. Ashley’s is my girlfriend. She cares about me and I care about her. She needs me and I need her. You’re going to have to accept it."
   "No I wont. You are forbid to see Ashley. I’m not going to have my daughter be gay."
   "Theres nothing you can do about it mom!"
   "It’s wrong spencer, Its a sin. Its disgusting."
   "This" She motioned between her and Ashley. "Is no different then any highschool relationship."
   "Paula, I think you should sleep on this. And I need to talk to you about it also." Arthur jumped in before the arguement continued. "Spencer, walk Ashley to her car and head upstairs. You need to get some sleep since you have school tomorrow."
   "K, Dad."
   "Bye Mr.C, Mrs. C" Arthur gave her a smile and Paula gave her a cold shoulder.

Spencer and Ashley stood outside of Ashley’s Porche. They were holding both of each other’s hands and their foreheads were together.
   "That went great." Spencer muttered.
   "It’ll get better."
   "I hope so."
   "Yeah." Ashley said looking down suddenly realizing that Paula may forbid Spencer to see her and Spencer have to actually follow through on that command.
   "Hey, Ash. Whats wrong?" spencer pulled back and cupped the side of Ashleys face.
   "What if…what if we cant see each other anymore?"
   "Thats not going to happen. I wont let it. You mean to much to me. Not even a hurricane could keep me from you. Okay?"
   "Yeah, Spence? Thanks."
   "For what?"
   "For caring so much. For going against your mom because of me. It means a lot that you want to be with me that much."
   "You never have to thank me for that. I’ll always be there. I’m not leaving. I’ve promised you that and I’m never going to break that promise."

They kissed tenderly and pulled back. Ashley glanced up at the window and noticed Paula standing there with her arms crossed.

   "Well, babe, I better get going. We are being watched."
   "Alright. You still picking me up for school?"
   "Wouldnt miss it for the world." Ashley relucantly pulled away and walked back to her car. She was going to wait until Spencer went inside to pull away. Spencer headed up towards the door and was about to walk in. Ashley started her car up and was getting ready to pull out. but, spencer turned around and ran over to Ashley’s side of the car. Ashley rolled down the window with a concerned face.
   "I…I love you Ashley Davies. I’m in love with you."
