It was beautifully heartbreaking.
I didn’t need to look at Gage and Jess to know that they too were crying, I just watched as Ashley tried desperately to keep melody as she sang through her tears, gaze locked with Sara the whole song, voice breaking in sadness.
The eulogy was tougher still. Mikey half carried Sara up the steps of the alter and they both shared a microphone as they started to speak of their mother. Halfway through, however, Sara seemed like she wouldn’t be able to continue and a beat later Kelly was at her side holding her as she continued to deliver the emotional words.
We all kind of blew off the luncheon after the service, Mikey included. We all opted to lay quietly in Sara’s large and brightly colored bedroom, sitting on the king-sized bed, all sort of holding hands.
But when I woke, just like the morning after the jet ride, I found myself not where I had falling asleep, but in the guest bedroom Ashley and I had shared two nights ago. But unlike then, I was naked, and when I raised my eyes I was met with Ashley’s warm brown one’s.
Ashley: “Hey.” She whispered out in a raspy voice that was still full of sadness. She cleared it and start
ed to stroke my hair.
Spencer: “How long as you been awake for?”
Ashley: “A few hours.”
Spencer: “Why didn’t you wake me?” She shrugs.
Ashley: “I just liked watching you, is that okay?” I nod and give her a soft smile before our lips connect. She breaks the kiss and pulls me closer and clutches to me to her fiercely. I kiss the skin against her chest as my hand strokes her back. And when I awoke a few hours later, she was still grasping me tightly.
The next day, however, was a little happier. I got to talk a little to Mr. Dooly and got to witness just how big of a fan Nana Dooly was of Gage’s.
Poor Gage, her face was the deepest of crimson whenever she was in Claudia’s presence. She would look to Jess desperately, but Jess just held back tears of laughter as she would watch Sara’s very smoking hot sixty-two year old grandmother flirt shamelessly with her.

Do it I freaking dare you! (Also, I think you could use a sex comma death break. You have to have been writing nonstop to put out this much material in so little time) Ok so I haven’t read it I just had a really great idea I don’t want to forget. You should go to one of those lame make-a-quiz websites and make a “Which MD School girl are you” quiz! Genius right! Anyways I think I would be Jess, but weirder and naughtier, soooo Sara? Halp?!
Haha ok now that I’ve read it I must admit I have to agree with you that it’s a tad inappropriate for them to bang it out right now … *grumble grumble* I applaud your restraint (read: cruelty) and anxiously await the next chapter :)
What a treat! I was hoping that you might go down this route if you included the club in one of your chapters!! Spencer on stage HAWT DAMN ..Ash is going to be a puddle before Spence is done….probably the other girls too!! You are a tease tho’….however, we’d all be complaining if you got them together too quickly so don’t listen to the blue ballers lol! I loved the bedroom scene with the opera music…I’ve always loved that piece and it fit the mood perfectly…I am already pining for the next chapter…please, please don’t torture us for too long….please?!?! *pout*

Oh dear oh dear. Lol. I’m way excited for next update. I have to say this is probably my favorite story on this site. Spencer’s intentions just crack me up, but in all seriousness that’d be my intention with Ashley too. Ha.

have i told you lately how much i enjoy your work? i hope so because you deserve to hear it like every five minutes! no five seconds! this update was awesome… it was nice to see a different dimension… the grieving, sadness, etc. everything, even the funny and sexual stuff, kinda slowed down and i still felt the weight of the situation in everything that the girls were doing… it was cool to read! i can’t wait for the next chapter! spencer is gonna rock ashley’s socks off! or at least i hope she is!!! ooohhh i’m excited!!! thanks for writing!

Oh my god, I cannot wait for the next post! I bet its gonna be awesome!! What am I talking about, OF COURSE it will be. Always is with you! Oh, and I’m really looking forward to this one-shot you have in the works. I think I would prefer if you did a 2 or 3 parter, rather than throw it all out in one go. That way it will last longer for us readers. But either way it will still rock!
