”Why don’t you just ask her what she thinks?” Collins suggested.

”Yeah maybe I should” Annabelle said thinking.

They turned back to study, when all of a sudden Annabelle’s phone vibrated again. It happened a lot, Annabelle would think of Simone and few seconds later her phone would let her know she had a new message.

Hey sweetheart.

Just wanted to wish you good luck for your upcoming finals.

And that I love you.

See you in about a week.

Annabelle got a lot of messages from Simone, it helped her getting through the day, she often said that she loved her and missed her, And wondering how she was doing and she asked how Kristin and Collins were doing. Kristin and Collins had been favourite students of Simone.

Now Annabelle had the perfect opportunity to ask Simone what she would think of where they should meet. So she asked her what she had in mind, and what she herself thought. Then Annabelle went back to studying once more, a couple of minutes later she got another message.

Maybe we should meet here at the beach house.

I think it’s the safest idea.

Annabelle was busy replying back when she got a phone call, her mother. Since their long talk at the restaurant they got along better, they talked more about everything, and her mother made more time for her to call her to ask her how she was and what she had done the day.

”Hello mom,” Annabelle said.

”Hey sweetheart. How are you?” her mother asked.

”Good, bored because of studying, and how are you?” Annabelle replied.

”Also fine, I was wondering about graduation, did you have plans already? Like a party?” her mom asked.

”No, No party, I only have one plan and that’s meeting Simone” Annabelle said.

”Ah yes, Simone, because I was thinking that I should come and pick you up and have a nice evening together. What do you say?” she said, she wanted to spend as much time with her daughter as possible, especially after graduation, It was celebration time.

”Well I would love to see you, but that means then I have to see Simone a day later,” Annabelle said little bit annoyed, she wanted to see her lover.

”I know honey, but one day doesn’t matter right? If I didn’t have to go out of town the day after that I would have planned it for then, I just want to see you and celebrate with you” her mother said sadly.

”Ok then, you can come and pick me up, and buy me this huge present. I will let Simone know I’ll see her a day later” Annabelle said smiling a little bit. She felt happy that her mom thought about her.

”Thank you, can’t wait and yes I will buy you a present of course, oh and say hi from me too Simone ok” her mother said happily. 

”Sure I will, bye mom, I love you” Annabelle said.

”Bye sweetheart, I love you too” her mother said before disconnecting.

”Well I guess I should text her back then,” Annabelle said to Collins, she loved her mom but the thought of one more day without Simone she didn’t really like.

Collins just nodded at Annabelle and resumed her studying, Annabelle was busy writing a message back to Simone.

Hey beautiful.

Guess what. My mom just called. She wants to see me after graduation. To spend time with me before she leaves town.
Very nice of her but that means one thing.
I get to see you a day later.
So I guess I should come to you at the beach house the day after graduation.
Can’t wait till then.

Annabelle just sat there, she knew Simone would reply soon so why bother with studying. Just as she thought the Phone vibrated a few minutes later, Simone telling Annabelle that she was happy for the progress Annabelle had with her mom. That she felt sad that she had to wait, but didn’t mind another day, and that she would wait for her at her beach house. Annabelle replied back once more before finally resuming her studying.
