    THE SUNSHINE DOWN ON LOVE:

    At the wake of morning, Simone is not sure whether it was all a dream, but the feel of Annabelle’s warm body next to her, reassure her it was not a dream. Yes Annabelle was here, her Annabelle, the young woman that had knock Simone off of her feet. Annabelle opens her eyes and looks into Simone’s eyes and she to knew that last night was no dream. “Hi” whispers Simone around the frog in her throat, the same frog in Annabelle’s throat made it hard for her to speak, so she too whispers, “hey.” Simone knew at that every moment she had to tell Annabelle that she loved her. Annabelle thinking the same, knew that she had to tell Simone she loved her. Simone closes her eyes and opens them again with tears welling up in her eyes and a bigger frog in her throat, says to Annabelle, “ I love you with every breath that I take and every beat of my heart.” Annabelle’s response to Simone’s admission to loving her was, “ and I too love you more with every breath I take and every beat of my heart.”

    This morning after was nothing like that awful morning after in Simone’s room. The sun was shining, birds singing and hearts beating. This morning the lovers get out of bed to take a nice long hot shower together.

    Annabelle and Simone get dress to go raid the frig. They walk hand in hand into the kitchen of the main house. There they find Nicole and Carmen about to sit down to breakfast. Carmen jumps up to give Annabelle and Simone a big hug, follow by one from Nicole. “Soooo, how was your birthday last night?” asks Carmen. Annabelle and Simone look at each other and say, “oh it was okay.” “ Just okay?” ask Nicole. Annabelle smiles with love in her eyes and says, “it was the best night of my 18 years.” Simone smiles with love in her eyes and says, “and she has many more to look forward to.” Nicole pushes an envelope across the table to Annabelle and says, “happy birthday baby.” Annabelle looks at it and tells her aunt, “ I had my present last night.” as she winks at a blushing Simone. Annabelle opens the envelope to find tickets and boarding passes for a Olivia Cruise.

     

    SET SAIL INTO THE SUNSET:

    Standing on deck of the cruise ship are Annabelle in Simone’s arms and Carmen in Nicole’s arm.
