Loving Annabelle, Alternate Ending Fan Fiction Contest

OPENING SCENE PICKS UP WITH ANNABELL STILL IN SIMONE’S ROOM:

Mother Immaculata enters Simone’s room looking to find evidences of Simone’s and Annabelle’s little torrid love affair. To her surprise she finds a teary eyed Annabelle just hanging up the phone. “ who were you on the phone with”. growls Mother Immaculata in that authoritative tone that Annabelle has grown to dislike so much. Annabelle with red teary eyes, turns and gives Mother Immaculata the coldest stare that any human being could give. Mother Immaculata is taken back from such a cold look, that for once in her life she is left utterly speechless. Annabelle still staring at her with those cold red teary eyes, now matches it with a cold smile and says, “ wouldn’t you like to know”. As Annabelle departs from the room, Mother Immaculata watches as a still tearful Annabelle leaves the room.

Mother Immaculata sinks down on the chair at Simone’s desk. She spots the pictures on the desk and picks up one of the pictures that Simone had taken of Annabelle that day when they where at Simone’s beach house. She is shocked to see a smiling Annabelle looking back at her with so much love, love in her eyes for her niece Simone and the love of Annabelle by Simone in the way she took the picture. Tears now welling up in her eyes, Mother Immaculata feels defeated, as she whispers in an empty room, “ what have I done, Oh God, what have I done”.
