Loving Annabelle, Alternate Ending Fan Fiction Contest

Simone was all ears, Annabelle had never really talked about her father. She had never met him, so there was only little she could say. But, knowing how it felt to grow up without parents, she could understand behind her words that she had always been sad and hurt to know he had never wanted to see her.

"I could either have a life with you, or remain part of her family and get to know my dad. I said I wanted it all. She laughed. So I made a choice." Seeing guilt and sadness trough Simone’s eyes, Annabelle tried to relax the conversation "So you better not leave me, or I swear I’ll be really mad." Biting her lip to restrain a tear, she rested her head on the pillow, engulfing her head on Simone’s torso.

"That’s…" Simone didn’t know what to say. What could she say? Annabelle had turned her mother’s deal to ever get to know her father down for her. She felt incredibly selfish. Pure undiluted guilt was running through her veins. "You shouldn’t -I mean I-You…"

Annabelle emerged to put a finger on Simone’s lips "I don’t care. I can’t regret someone I don’t know anyway. But I sure as hell couldn’t lose you."

Annoyed at the interruption, Hillary Tillman looked at her bodyguard "Fine, I’ll be there in a moment. Lead them into the living room." Gulping the remaining of her scotch down in one mouthful, she straightened her clothes, raked her hands through her hair to be sure everything was in place and walked towards her living room.

"Hello" she said. "I’m Senator Tillman. I regret but I don’t have the pleasure to know your name."

"Guinevere Bradley. Very nice to meet you Senator. Sorry to disturb you, I know you’re a very busy woman."

Not letting the shock of the name appear on her face, she nodded "Very busy indeed. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

Emaculeta spoke first. "Senator, you have to know that I’m very sorry to be the announcing you this. But, it appears one of Saint Teresa’s ex teacher is having a-"

“I known" the Senator roared at once. "That’s why you’re here I suppose then. To apologize for your lack of judgement hiring someone so unethical."
