Love Love Love: A Series of One-Shots: Accidents Happen
A/N: I’d like to thank all of you that have been reading my stories and commenting on them, especially on that last one; it means a lot to me and makes me want to write more. So here’s some feedback for you guys…
-LoveAsh87, I’m working on a sequel to Winter Nights right now
-Papi, your comment was like the nicest thing ever and I really appreciate it. I’m glad you liked that last one, it was my favorite too.
-Ginny1, I’m glad you and everyone else notice the cuteness in my stories. I like to make them romantic because that’s what I personally would want.
-Jazziejazz, I can try to make a story with Spencer & Kyla but I’m not sure if I can do it because I don’t really see them together. I’ll give it a go, though.
Thank you all for reading! Now on with the story…
What am I doing here? I thought to myself. I sat in the the passenger seat of the convertible belonging to Ashley Davies. A greasy toolbox rested at my feet. We hardly knew eachother, but today was the third time she had offered me a ride home from school in the past week. I finally accepted. We were cruising down the freeway at 60 mph.
"This isn’t exactly the way to my house," I muttered nervously.
"What?" she was chewing gum.
"I said this isn’t the way to my house," I repeated.
"I know that. I just like to take the freeway. I like to go fast."
Now, I’m not sure if she’s aware of this, but I’ve been crushing on Ashley since I first saw her. I mean, she’s gorgeous. I didn’t accept her other offers to drive me home because I was just too nervous.
"So, umm..why did you offer me a ride home?" I asked.
"Because I wanted to," she responded casually. She turned up the radio. Guess she doesn’t want to chat.
"Say, do you want to go to a club with me tomorrow night?" she asked over the music.
"Um, I guess?" I said. Duh I want to go with you.
Suddenly, one of the front tires blew. The car went into a screaming slide and I shrieked aloud, positive of my own death. An image of my broken, bloody corpse, thrown against a telephone pole, flashed through my mind like a tabloid photograph. Ashley cursed and whipped the steering wheel from side to side.
