“Spence it’s not your fault.  I’m sorry I shouldn’t have left.”  I reassure her as I take her in my arms.

“No Ash, leaving was the right thing to do.  But I should’ve left with you.  I don’t know what was wrong with me, I was just in shock.  The minute you walked out the door it felt like my heart had been ripped out.  And then seeing you crying…I’m so sorry Ash.”  She cries.

“Shhh…baby it’s okay.  You’re here now and that’s all that matters to me.”  I say before capturing her lips in a passionate kiss.  After a few minutes we break to regain the feeling in our lips.  “You should call your dad.”

“Way to ruin the moment.”  She laughs.

“No seriously.  He’ll probably be wondering where his car and daughter are in the morning.”  I say with a smirk.

“Yeah he’ll need that to get to work.”  I can’t help but laugh because she totally didn’t get the part about her staying the night.  Blonde moment I guess.  Then she gets this surprised look on her face, can we say light bulb.  “What do you mean he’ll wonder where his daughter is in the morning?”

“Like I’m gonna send you home to deal with Paula.  I don’t think so.”

“Okay.”  She smiles and grabs the phone to call her dad.  After she explains the whole story, her dad says that he and Glen will pick up the car seeing as how it was his fault the car broke down.  And as a way to make up for the mishap, Mr. C insisted that Spencer spend the night.  She didn’t even have to ask.  Why can’t Paula be so cool?  Oh yeah she’s the Anti-Christ.  The whole time Spencer is on the phone I can’t help but stare.  She looks so hot right now.  Her hair is wet and stringy, but on her it looks sexy.  Her blue top clings to her in all the right places and is driving me crazy.  I snap back to attention once she hangs up.

“So…are you staying?”  I ask hopeful.  Please be a yes.

“Yes.”

“Great!  Now let’s get you out of these wet clothes.  I have some you can borrow.”  I say getting up to go to my dresser when she grabs my arm and pulls me back down.  “Spence what’s wrong?”
