"How can he hear me?"I asked Carlisle.
"This just happened?"Carlisle answered my question with a question.I hated when people did that.Edward laughed.I sighed.

He kissed me,"Calm Bella."

"It happened right before I saved her from the wolf."He said with slight anger in his voice.I squeezed his hand.

"It's possible that since I had to change you again,that you begain unimmune to Edward.Since your relationship has had time to grow he can hear you now."Carlisle said logically.

"Why now…Why not since the first retransformation?"I asked.

"It's also possible that you wouldn't know 'til a major event…your very near death expirence to trigger it."He smiled."Congrats kids!"He laughed and went downstairs.
"This is good.I've always wanted to get inside your head."He smiled.

"Please don't tell Emmett.He has enough material."I smiled.

"Deal."Edward said."Let's get her home.He motioned to a sleeping Renesme on the bed.

"Lets not wake her.I'll ask Alice or Rose to check on her.Let's go home."I whispered.We snuck downstairs.

"Jasper,Renesme is in Edward's room.Could you check on her from time to time.We're gonna leave her here for tonight."I asked.

"Sure Bells."He kissed my cheek and smiled at Edward.We ran back to the cottage.I thought it might be safer.I didn't need anymore problems.

We got to the cottage in three minutes.Edward scooped me up and carried me across the threshold.I was going to say something but of course…

"Part of the job decription,Bella."He smiled.
"Will I ever get to talk again?"I asked.
"Okay.I'll cut back.I'm just excited.Of course you'll talk.You have such a beautiful voice."He kissed my throat.I went crazy internally.I had thoughts and…

"Bella,those thoughts I can't let you say.It takes time away from it."He smiled.
"Okay that's an exception."I laughed.He joined.

The bedroom door closed.That's all I need to say.

A month later  I went to go pick up Renesme.Edward and I were going to bring her to Charlie's.I wished myself luck.

I knocked on Charlie's door with Renesme in my arms and my husband's hand in mine.

"Hey Bella….Edward."He didn't say Edward's name with enthusiasm.

"Hi Dad."I smiled.
"What do you want Edward?How could you treat my daughter like that?I knew you were bad from the start.."Charlie raised his voice.Edward took it well.He stood there tall and listened to every word.

"Sir,I love Bella and Renesme.What happened was inexcuseable but necessary to protect them."Edward said.

Charlie was prepared to keep going.
"Need to know kind of stuff dad."I said.

"Oh."He said calmly.,"Come inside.It's cold."

We went in and I put Renesme down.We sat on the couch.I leaned on Edward when we sat.It made Charlie uncomfortable.Even more so when Edward put his arm around me.I thought how uncomfortable he must be.Edward and I laughed in unison as Charlie sat confused.

"He is uncomfortable"He laughed low enough that only I heard.

After we left Charlie's I hoped everything was normal as it could be.

Edward drove slower today.I didn't know why but I didn't mind.

I looked at Forks and noticed alot I hadnt since I changed.I usually saw Charlie's house and the Cullen's.Much had changed.Not too much but enough to notice.I looked around one last time before Edward pulled into the driveway.It wasn't a perfect life but it was ours.

"So very true Mrs Cullen." Edward said before he kissed me.Renesme giggled.We looked at our daughter with hope.
