His breath reeked of stale alcohol and his face needed a good shaving. I shook my head from side to side quickly and before I could say anything he pulled out another stack of twenties. I didn’t understand why he wanted me to go to another club, but I took the money and went back to the dressing room to put my clothes back on.
“Where are you going? You can’t leave tonight! You’re our most popular act!” Teresa whined when she saw me packing my bags.
“Mickey wants me to go check out the Avalon Lounge, he said there was some new act and he wants to make sure we top it tomorrow night, I’ll be here tomorrow. Be safe tonight,” I blew her a kiss from the door and threw my canvas bag over my shoulder. Nothing about my night life was ever predictable; it was like I was two different people. The darkness brought out the animal in me and the daylight tamed the tiger. It hardly ever rained in LA but tonight the streets were sodden with precipitation. The neon lights from the club glinted off of the slick streets and I began my short walk to the other club. Heavy bass pounded all around me, this district of the city was notorious for its clubs and nightlife. As my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I could feel that the rain had chilled the usually warm breeze and the air was heavy all around me. Club Avalon was directly in front of me but instead of heading in, I ducked into a small diner. A girl couldn’t be expected to spy on an empty stomach.
“Yes, I’ll have a double cheeseburger with the works and then a side order of curly fries,” I said to the frumpy waitress behind the counter. She jotted down my order on her pad and sauntered off slowly toward the kitchen.

I’m kind of lost in this whole one shot contest thing. Are you guys supposed to write 5 diffrent stories or 1 story with 5 chapters?
Oh gosh you know I was on the edge of my seat while you were writing this … while I think this challenge is absurd because you are obviously the better writer, I am glad that it produced this fic. Looking forward to the future updates. Great work!
Dreamer? Oh please. I’d get my ass kicked in something like this. =PI suck at writting and eyeheartmusik has mad skillz. But I am kind of glad LAVIZZY agreed to this. Feuds are fun.
Umm (*blushes*) too kind you are. but honestly this fic totally rocks. A Spashley stripper story is like a dream come true. LAVIZZY is 100% terrible. eyeheartmusik is the shit! thats all that needs to be said. Right on with this, looking forward to more updates. =)
I’m definately with everyone else in saying that you’re the better writer and this story is already AMAZING! I have NO problem with thinking on Ashley stripping…or Spencer for that matter!
It’s one storyline with 5 chapters. Are you kidding me?! Write against Dreamer or DECONSTRUCTxME?! I would so totally lose. They are such amazing authors!

Thanks eyeheartmusik but you and I both know that’s a complete lie. =P You would totally kick my ass in a write off and make my work look like something LAVIZZY wrote(No offence LAVIZZY) and don’t stop writting this story even if the contest is over(if it’s over) because strippers rule. XD

I agree with Bat. LAVIZZY kept to a one shot.
i can relate to certain parts of this story. For example, my neighbor is a stripper. She offered to give me a lap dance while i was in the army..but she scares me. weak. And then you mentioned Dr. Pepper. Someone threw a Dr. Pepper at my car the other day and yelled “You just got DP’ed! BAM!” uhhh so in reality I didn’t really relate to anything, but i still like the story. write more
Lavizzy knew the rules and knows its a short story with five chapters… therefore even though some people already say the contest is over its not. But i’m glad you guys like it, and I will continue.

I really think this whole thing is preposterous. I bet eyeheartmusik could write about diapers and still win this challenge. However , I’d to give Lavizzy some kudos ’cause she’s really going to let you embarass her, so I guess , that’s something. Right?
