“What kinda music do you like Spence?” Kyla asked me while Ashley was backing out of the garage

“I love Taylor Swift! I like anything mostly; I’m very open-minded about music.” I answered.

“We should totally go to a Taylor Swift concert together! She’s coming here in November! I know Ash wouldn’t wanna go with me.” Kyla said enthusiastically.

“Yeah, that sounds good!” I told her.

We drove for 20 minutes, technically it was Ashley who was driving; but we were all talking the whole time. It was great, I felt like I knew them before. Crazy right? We got along so well.

When Ashley started pulling up into a parking spot, I saw the pier and beach. I’ve never seen the beach before until now. I wish I had my camera with so I could take a picture of the ocean.

“So, what are we doing?” I asked.

“You’ll see.” Ashley said with a smile. It was one of those smiles without any teeth showing, but it was really…hot.

We were walking on the pier until I heard someone yell out Kyla’s name. It was a really tall, dark haired, green eyed guy. He looked pretty built.

“Hey babe,” Kyla greeted him with a kiss on the lips.

“This is my boyfriend Aiden Dennision….And this is our new neighbor Spencer Carlin. She’s from Ohio.” Kyla introduced us. We shook hands and he said, “Nice to meet you Spencer.” He seemed really nice. “Nice to meet you too!” I smiled. He explained to us that he got us tickets for the rides so we didn’t have to pay. What a gentleman.

We spent the day riding rollercoaster’s and playing games. While we were playing games, Kyla and Aiden disappeared. I guess they wanted their privacy which means I was left with Ashley. We both stopped to talk on this bench and talked about everything; I got to know her and she got to know me. That girl knows how to make me laugh. I didn’t realize we were talking for two hours because Aiden and Kyla showed up and suggested we get something to eat at their favorite diner.

It was a cute diner, like it wasn’t fancy or anything. It had some vintage feel to it. I liked it. Aiden, Kyla, and Ashley didn’t have to look at the menu because they already knew what they were going to order. I felt like such a newbie. Aiden and Kyla sat together while me and Ashley sat in the same booth across from them. Aiden recommended a black and white shake so I ordered that and a cheeseburger.
