    Spin-Off of Graduation Day

    “mom…can I pleaseeeee take this new EP by Fall Out Boy to school…”

    “Lauren…what have I told you about that…”

    “mom come on!”

    “Lauren let’s go!” Erin yelled

    “no…sorry Lauren…I’ll ask my boss if you can take it tomorrow ok?”

    “fine! Ugh!”

    Wow…teenagers…sadly I remember that perfectly I drove to work and walked right into the studio to go over the recording with Teddy for Fall Out Boy’s comeback EP

    “are they coming in today?” I asked teddy

    “they should be…they called and said they were”

    “ok…because I want to re-record patricks vocals on track 3”

    “yeah I was going to talk to you bout track 5…do you think we could turn down pete’s bass line just a little? It just doesn’t match up with the rest of the tracks”

    “uh…yeah let me listen to it…”

    After I listened to it the guys walked in including pete

    “as I live and breath! Ashley davies!”

    “hey pete!”

    “so what’s the deal? You ditch us for recording then come in later just to criticize us?” he said laughing

    “no…you guys got teddy!” I said patting teddy on the back

    “true…”

    “ok…but we have work to do…Patrick we need to re-do your vocals on Hum Hallelujah and pete, your bass line is a little strong on Track 5”

    “psh that’s what she said” he said then I hit him in the arm

     

    It was a fun day at work I guess…I love my job though, it’s my dream job…I talked to Spencer at lunch, then I called her when I was leaving my meeting

    “hey baby”

    “hey…lauren passed”

    “no surprise…” I said laughing “…tell her I say goodjob”

    “honey mom says goodjob”

    “thanks mom” Lauren yelled so I could hear her

    “are you going to get Erin?”

    “uh yeah…I’m about 5 minutes away…”

    “ok…well we’ll see you guys at home…”

    “do you want me to pick up a pizza or anything?”

    “uh yeah…I’ll order it…”

    “ok…I love you”

    “I love you too…bye” and I hung up the phone

    I went to Harbor High to pick up Erin at her basketball practice…she was shooting foul shots with Jamie and Martha, so I went and talked to her coach
