If U Seek Amy – (Chapter: Brave New Girl)
"Trez. No one knows her last name. But why would you have to know, she’s the only ‘Trez’ in the school. Not really a common name, right? She’s sweet and innocent at day, freak at night." She explains. See, not all hot lesbians have to be 100 lbs. She so proved that wrong! Oh shit, she saw us staring at her for the last 4 minutes. She sits up and walks across the quad in our direction. She’s wearing blue skinny jeans, a long tight 3OH!3 t-shirt but it’s too tight, just tight enough to flatter her curves, a blue deniem jacket that stops at her mid-stomach, and black flats.
"Well hello, Ashley." She says as she smiles at her. I can tell Trez has an infatuation for Ashley. Vice versa for Ashley. She looks over to me and smiles. "Hey, I’m Trez." She says as she reaches out her hand to shake mine. "Spencer." I say as we shake hands. After she releases my hand she puts both of her hands on the back of her jean pockets and tilts her head. "Are you new here? I’ve never seen you around here, or with Ash?" She asks.
"Yes, actually. I’m from Ohio."
"No way! I’m from Pennsylvania! Right next door. Philly is where I’m reppin" she says as she pops the collars of her jacket and puckers up her loucious lips. She smiles and laughs and both I and Ashley laugh along.
"Trez, your not black, get over it!" Ashley says. "Trez came here last year and she was a South Philly mess!"
"Ha, well I was at that stage where I had no idea who I was. We all get at that point. But if you wanna describe me now, I’m just Trez. Don’t try to label me. It’s nearly impossible." She explains, and Ashley smiles big.
"See! That’s why I love Trezie!" She says with a goofy grin on her face. Trez just returns the same goofy smile.
"Well aren’t you gay?" I ask. I hope she doesn’t mind me asking. Some lesbians are very offended when someone brings up their sexuality.
"Well," she says with a half scrunched face, "I mean, I like girls, alot more than boys. But sometimes I find guys attractive in a way. I’m not a bisexual, because I feel like that term means that I’m confused, which I’m not. And I’m not straight, apparantly. I don’t really declare myself anything right now for a few reasons. One being that maybe I could change my mind in the future. You never know what God will hold for you. Maybe I’ll marry a man? I don’t plan it now, but then again you never know. People do say we are way too young to declare who we are. And saying your gay is bigger than saying your a prep or an emo or something, because that’s a stereotype and being gay or straight is an orientation. And you always have your orientation stuck with you forever. This is the time to live, you know? Experiment, but don’t experiment yourself to the grave, yah hear? Also another reason why I don’t declare myself as anything is because my crazy catholic parents! They’d kill me if they find out about the boys and girls I slept with. If I go around telling people in school I’m a lez then that would eventually get to my dad who’s the next God Father, yah know? So right now, I like girls and in the future I plan to marry the woman of my dreams. Does that answer your question?"
Actually, it does!
