For three days, Paula was able to hold her own and she looked forward to everyday and every assignment. Back at the cottage, Franzi was on the phone talking to Emily.

Franzi asked, ‘So you testified against Fletcher and everything is now over?’

Emily replied, ‘Not quite. I still have to finish my community service. But yeah, that’s pretty much it.’

Franzi said, ‘That’s great! I wish I could have been there to see it. I’m proud of you, Emily.’

Emily said, ‘I know. I feel as if the weight of everything I’ve done is almost off my back. And I practically looked him in the eyes and said "You have no power over me". But listen, enough about me and my drama. What about your job at The Rainbow?’

Franzi arrived at The Rainbow with no facial makeup, some eye liner, and she used a lemon-citrus scented shampoo for her hair.

Franzi met the bartender and said, ‘Hello. I’m Franzeska Reuter. I’m supposed to start working today and I was told to ask for Michael Zimmermann.’

The bartender, Miguel, said ‘Just a minute, miss. I’ll let him know you’re here.’

Franzi said, ‘Thanks.’ She only had to wait a minute before meeting her new boss. ‘Hello, Ms. Reuter. It’s very nice to meet you. Daniel told me a lot about your from your time at Mocca.’

Franzi replied, ‘Thank you. All of it good, I hope.’

Michael said, ‘Very good. He told me you were the most reliable and loyal employee he ever had. Why don’t we sit at a table and we’ll talk about your job details?’

Franzi said, ‘That sounds very good.’

Michael said, ‘All right. Now, first off, money.’
