"This is Ashley."

"Oh, um, hi." I have to admit, I’m a little nervous about what they’ll think of me. "Spence, I’m gunna get some hot chocolate, you want anything?"

"I’ll just take a hot chocolate."

"Okay." I smiled at her and began to walk over to a little coffee stand.

"Oh, hey, and Ash! Get me some of those cute little marshmallows! I want a bunch so tell them not to be stingy!" She yelled as I was ordering.

"You heard her! Get on it!" I said smiling at the coffee boy. He was about 15, awkward, acne, you know, a typical dorkish guy. He handed me the drinks and I winked at him before givng him a flirty smile.. What can I say? I love making people uncomfortable.

"Thanks. And no more flirting with coffee boys!"

"Oh, I’m sorry, are you jealous?" I said laughing.

"No I just don’t appreciate it!"

She wrapped her arms around my neck kissed me. I pulled back quickly. "Spencer, we’re with you’re friends….." I said suddenly feeling uncomfortable.

"I don’t care, Ash. You know that."

"I don’t want them to hate me…."

"They’re gay, too. They’ve been together for amost 3 years…." She whispered in my ear.

"So they’re cool?"

"They’re cool."

"Spencer, you’re back! I had to find out from Glen of all people!" A very flamboient boy said while making a disguisted face on the last sentece.

"I’m sorry, Patrick…. Oh this is Ashley. She came with my family."

"Hmm.. and that guy Aiden did too? Paula is just seting up a sex-fest now-a-days!"

"Pat!" Laruen and Michelle said at the same time.

"Well I don’t know about you guys but I want to go eat at Ethans…"

"Who’s that….?" I asked.

"He’s one of our friends who owns a little cafe.. he serves the best soup." Michelle said.

"Well I’m in. I want to find out more about Spencer’s girl." She had some pretty cool friends.

"Well as I live and breath, Spencer Carlin." A guy behind the counter said. "I thought you lefty us forever four monthes ago! And who is this gorgous little thing?" He said.

"This is Ashley, my girlfriend. She came with the family."

"Well, since when is Spencer pickin’ up the ladies?"
