    Author Notes:

    Spencer leaves. Spencer gets a surprise. Spencer is…caught in the act?!?!??!

    “Call me if you need to talk.”  Ashley kissed Spencer on the cheek and walked away.  “What am I doing?” Ashley thought.  “Do I really want to know this part of my life?”  She got into the taxi and drove off.

    Spencer’s phone rang.  “Hello?” 

    “Spencer! Thank god you answered!”  It was Kyla but not just any Kyla, a nervous one.

    “When are you coming back? Chelsea’s having the baby, and and…” 

    “Is that Spencer?! OH MY GOD AGHHH…”  Spencer heard Chelsea in the background screaming in pain.”

    “Spence you need to come back please.  Clay is out of town on some job, Glen and Madison took a road trip to watch Aiden’s basketball game in Sacramento, and it’s just me and A.C. and I don’t know if I can…”

    “Kyla, it’s going to be okay.” Spencer said trying to calm her friend down, “I’ll get the first flight out there.”

    “Oh thank you Spencer.  I gotta go! Bye!”  Spencer heard Chelsea scream one more time before the line cut off.

    “Who was that?”  Ashley asked facing Spencer.  After she went home she missed the blonde so much she asked her to come over. 

    “Your sister.”  Spencer smiled.

    “Kyla right?”  Ashley asked making sure she remembered

    “Yeah.  And my sister-in-law is having her baby and Kyla’s all alone.  I’m gonna have to take the first flight out there.”  Spencer said apologetically.

    Ashley looked hurt.  “It’s okay.  I know you have a life outside of this.”  She smiled.

    “Ash, you are my life.”  Spencer knew that was a bold thing to say.  She looked down with red cheeks and bit her tongue.

    “You’ll be back right?”  Spencer looked at Ashley. “As soon as I can.”

    Within a couple hours Spencer was on a flight to LAX.  Ashley had watched her take off missing her already.  “I need to get my memory back,” she thought, “for Spencer.”  She smiled as an idea popped in her head.

    “Oh my god!  Spencer crept into the hospital room smiling at Chelsea embracing her new nephew.”  Chelsea looked at the girl silently asking if everything was alright.  Spencer nodded and started to tear up.  “He’s beautiful Chels.” Spencer said. 

    “Clay is coming back but won’t be here for a few more hours.”  She sounded tired.

    2. haha. that was an excellent note to end on. haha. i love ashley. but yeah, this story is interesting becase even though ashley bearely remembers thigns, her passion for spencer is still intact and unrelenting. i love how you’ve generated that trademark spashley intensity, but have also added another layer to it. it’s irresistible to say the least. MORE! MORE!
