Spencer’s POV

"That wasn’t in the script." She finally choked out. Oh, great, good going Spencer, now she thinks you’re a freak.

"I’m sorry Ashley, I-I didn’t mean it." Of course I did.

"Well then, why, why would you do it then?"

"I don’t know."

"Just tell me. It’s okay."

"Well, the truth is that I’ve been in love with you since kindergarten…"

"Seriously? Then why were you so mean to me?"

"Beacuase I didn’t want you to know."

"Why not?"

"I don’t know, it seems kinda stupid now." I said laughing.

"Yeah, considering you didn’t even know that I feel the same way."

"Really?"

"Yes, really. Spencer, I love you. I’ve loved since the first day of kindergarten."

"I love you, too. And I’ve loved you since that first day of kindergarten."

"So, where do we go from here?" She asked, her eyes looking hopeful.

"Well, I know where I want us to go."

"And where is that?"

"Ashley Davies, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Hmmmm…."

"What? Are you thinking about it?" I asked getting nervous.

"I’m just kidding! I would love to be you’re girlfriend, Spencer." She said giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"It’s really stupid if you think about it now. We’ve known that we’ve loved each other since kindergarten, yet we still wasted ten years of our lives TRYING to act like we hate each other."

"I know." She said laughing

Ashley’s POV

Yay! Spencer’s my girlfriend, SPencer’s my girlfriend! I’m so excited! She asked me after the play, and of course I said yes! Right now I’m doing a little happy dance in my head! YAY!

"So, Spencer, I think we should celebrate."

"How?"

"I think that we should go on a date, let’s say, Friday? 6?"

"I think it sounds perfect." She said putting her arms around mt waist and nuzzling her head into the crook of my neck.

"This feels perfect, finally."

"I know excactly what you mean."
