    sequel to “save tonight”

     

    “Do you think you could come pick me up, I’m kind of stranded again”

     

    There was some silence but I could hear her whispering to someone, it sounded kind of like “no, shut up, leave me alone”

     

    “It’s okay, never mind”  I say into the receiver but she quickly answers

     

    “No, um sorry. Blake is just being annoying. I’ll be there in a few” she replies but hangs up before I get the chance to say thank you.

     

    A few minutes passed by and sure enough her mustang rolls up, I can hear thunder in the distance but no lightening in sight yet. The interior of the car was strangely comfortable, much warmer then it was outside. The music was on low, as were the wipers as it started to drizzle lightly.

     

    Once again before I could say my thanks I was cut off, “So where is Parker?” she asks calmly

     

    “I, I don’t know” I reply looking out the window “Thanks for coming” I reply

     

    “mmhmm” is her only response

     

    I don’t try to push conversation, I just sit and stare out the window, the rain is picking up now and it’s really loud on the roof of Ashley’s car. The wipers are on in full force, and my eye catches a flash of lightening. I’m unconsciously pull my bag tighter to me and I don’t notice my white knuckled grip on the seat until Ashley mentions it.

     

    “You okay?”

     

    I turn my attention towards her and then follow her gaze down to my hand gripping the seat.  I loosen my grip and blush immediately.

     

    “I’m uh, scared of thunderstorms” I reply feeling equivalent to a five year old

     

    “Oh”

     

    Most people make fun of me when they find this out, but Ashley just nodded her head and continued to drive. Maybe because right now our relationship wasn’t really one with room for joking around, not that kind of car ride. More like filled with uncertainty and tension.

     

    A few minutes later and she was pulling into my driveway. The lightening and thunder was closer and louder now and it sounded like it was hailing.

     

    The car rolled to a stop.

    2. holy freaking wow I can’t even think of something here.. hot. just omg that was incredible. and the whole fact that it started outside during a thunderstorm? genius. I’m a total sucker for that! and hot spashley-ness during said thunderstorm…. omfg. wow. ok so now parker just needs to go to hell and everything will be good. oh and damn it all I don’t want this to end! seriously. ugh you’ll be the death of me. anyway FANTASTIC update. post the next soon, even though like I said I’ll probably cry because it’ll be over.

    4. noooooo!!! this so cannot be almost over!!! trilogy? please? pretty please with a cherry on top? ill be your best friend. ok seriously, what do i need to do to make this happen? ill have my people call your people. we’ll do this :) lol. for real tho- awesome update- one of the best sex scenes ever!- going places only few go and i loved every syllable! :)

    5. I so loved it. Ot was incredibly hot and amazing.I can’t wait for the next update to see what is going to happen. I hope that parker with be out of the picture for good now that spashley is back.

    6. omg! that was soooo good! I can’t even describe the goodness that that was. the scene in the rain was the best scene EVER! and everything that followed was amazing and smokin hot! I wish this story didn’t have to end though! why can’t it just go on forever? I’m excited for the next chapter though, so pms!

    9. OK, here we go…I’m going to have a rant now…..HOW THE FUCK DID I NOT REALISE THAT YOU’D WRITTEN A SEQUEL??????? Ok, so now that I have gotten over my complete disgust with myself and had the absolute pleasure of reading six chapters back to back. And what a pleasure it was, talk about passion!! Where do I start? I love Shannon, she’s hilarious :0) I love how Ashley switched schools to be with Spencer and how she has persisted despite Spencer’s repeated knock-backs…Hell I love every last word *sighs* Can you tell I’m a bit over excited?!? I still can’t get over it…These two spent so long apart that the sex was bound to be intense but although I know you’ve nearly reached the end I’m still a sucker so bring on the Spashley!!!
