Heartless – (Chapter: 3. Cold as the winter wind when it breeze yo)
“How would you like me to answer that?” I asked after I wiped some of wetness off of my cheeks
She continued to look me in the eyes before she lowered her head back down to the grass, “I, I don’t know” she whispered as she began to pull up some of the grass
This is the most vulnerable I’ve ever seen her, she was unguarded, no ammo, no back up, she was defeated before she even started. I could see the wheels turning in her head trying to come up with something right to say, I prayed she would find something, anything to say that would make me not want to hate her so bad right now.
“Let’s see” I started “ I could tell you that I’ve been completely miserable for the past six months, I’ve become a total bitch, alienated myself from my friends and my family over a relationship that lasted less then a week or I could tell you that since you walked out of my life I’ve never been happier, it was the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I don’t have any trace of feelings for you….which would you rather me tell you?”
She looked up at me with a blank expression on her face, it seems that she just came to the realization that she created a monster.
She opened her mouth to say something but quickly shut it, she did this a few times before she finally spoke.
“Spence” she closed her eyes but has a pained expression on her face “Spencer, I am sorry, I know that it‘s the last thing you want to hear but it‘s the truth. I never meant to hurt you, it was the last thing that I ever wanted to do, you know that”
I scoffed, “I don’t know what I know anymore. The line between reality and illusion is so far blurred, that I, sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night I’m not sure if I’m dreaming still or if I’m actually awake”
“Had I known you were going to be here I wouldn’t have come”
I stopped and my eyes widened at her

ahh-mazing definitly worth the wait it made my day a whole hell of a lot better pms!!
Present! *raises hand* Still reading this! Yay! I’m happy that you finally have time to update your story. I confess, I had to reread the first two chapters to remind myself of what’s been going on but now I’m all caught up. Wow, Spencer is still so hurt and angry. That was pretty harsh, walking away from Ashley after baiting her to admit her feelings. I wonder if they’re both ready to work things out? I look forward to reading more. Hey Spencer, go make it right!
so glad ure writing again! great update…i would say poor ash but idk what she did to spencer was really shitty so idk PMS
omg I had to do a double take when I saw you posted!! I loved this story so much and am super stoked to know you’ll be posting again soon! I really hope spence and ash can work thiings out and just be happy! pms!
I was seriously on the verge of PMing you to see when you’d be updating! thank god you did. I can’t feel too badly for ashley, I think in the heat, or rage whatever you’d like to call it, of the moment I may have done the same thing. but at least ash explained herself and spence wants to make things right. and I’m really glad aiden’s cool with everything. fantastic update, please please please do not make us wait that long again!!! I might just have to punch my computer if you do and that wouldn’t be good.
You and your drama ways…sigh. I’m gonna have to sit spencer down and have a long talk with her about this whole thing. Yes, I understand that Ashley didn’t say it back first, but my God Spencer, heartless….ooooohhhh just got the name of the story. I kid, I know things and understand them…unlike u kid hee hee, again, joking…or am i? Annnnnyyyyyywaaaaaayyyy awesome, awesome update. I love that Spencer gets drunk in the morning…thought i was the only one. but after all, shan was right, it did cure her hangover…even though it came later again in full force
