Haunting in Ohio – (Chapter: Painting The Town)

It was a black Porsche and the interior was to die for. The leather was deliciously smooth and a rich blood red color. With this babe magnet, Ashley probably got all the ladies. Or guys? Which sex she preferred I wasn’t too sure but from the flirting I would have to say I have a definite in. Even if she wasn’t, I had a way with the straight girls too. If they weren’t gay, by the end of the night they would be.

I shut the door to her car and she started up the engine. It purred lightly like a new born kitten and I smiled. It really was a great car. We peeled out of the drive and on down the street. The ride was silent except for when Ashley would hum along to the songs coming out of the car radio. I glanced over at her and my breath hitched. She really was something beautiful. I smiled to myself and Ashley then glanced at me.

    Ashley: What?

She asked putting her eyes back on the road. I smiled again. God I’m a fucking sap.

    Spencer: Nothing.

I said smiling and she laughed.

Ashley: Oh come on now you gotta tell me.

    She said and I laughed.

    Spencer: It’s nothing really.

    I said and she huffed.

    Ashley: Fine don’t tell me.

She said continuing to drive. Within minutes we pulled up to what looked like a bar and we both got out. I shut her car door and stood there, taking in the place. Seriously? Hick. Town. As I was drowned in my thoughts of how much this town was red neck central, Ashley grabbed my hand and dragged me into the place. As soon as we entered through the swinging doors, my lungs were assaulted with the taste of smoke and my nose burned with stench of old beer. Ashley led us to a booth near the back and informed me that she was going to get us drinks. As I sat there waiting, I took in my surroundings. I swear the place looked like that scene out of sweet home Alabama where Reese Witherspoon went to the bar and got wasted just to throw up in jakes car. Yuuup I was right.

Ashley came back to the booth with a tray oh colorful shots and I smile brightly, clapping my hands for joy. I wanted to get drunk tonight and I guess this was just the place to do that. As soon as Ashley set the tray down I grabbed one of the glowing blue shots and downed that sucker. The liquor was strong and made a burning trail down my throat that hurts so good. I immediately felt the rush of the Alcohol go to my head. I slammed the shot glass down and Ashley looked at me with amusement. I smiled.

    Spencer: What?

I asked as her eyes glowed.

    Ashley: That was hot.

She said smiling and I grinned back. Oh yeah tonight’s gonna be a good night.
