Gossip Girl – (Chapter: Get Whats Rightfully Yours)

I laughed, just because Glen was so disgusting. But that’s just the way he was; and he made for a perfect wing man. I looked myself once more in the mirror, before grabbing my jacket, and heading over to Ashley’s.

    Spencer’s P.O.V.

Being one of the most popular girls in school (second to Ashley), many of my fellow students would probably not imagine that on a Saturday night, Spencer Carlin was sitting in her bed, watching The OC and slowly putting spoonfuls of Ben and Jerry’s cookie dough in her mouth between Oh no she didn’t’s and Awww’s. I was just about to see if Marissa really did cheat on Ryan with the yard guy when my cell phone rang. Checking the caller ID, I saw it was Tyler, my very own Seth Cohen, and just the thing I needed to stop feeling so bummed about how things turned out with Ashley earlier.

“Hey!” I exclaimed, flipping my phone open.

“Hey, uh, wow. Are you sure you didn’t get me confused with someone else? This is Tyler remember?”

“Haha, yes I’m actually excited to talk to you!”

“Well, that’s good! So, um, what are you doing tonight? Let me guess! Going clubbing with Ashley? No…maybe shopping? Hmm, no the store’s would be closed. Is there a party tonight? Wait, I think you went to a party last night-“

“Actually…I’m sitting in my pajamas eating Ben and Jerry’s and watching the OC.” I said, giggling.

“Oh well wow! That’s the last thing I’d expect the fabulous Spencer Carlin was doing on a Saturday night.”

“Well, maybe I’m not who you think I am…”

“Girl of mystery! I like it! So would you like to maybe trade the Ben and Jerry’s for some popcorn and go to a movie with me?”

    “Um…sure! When were you thinking?”

“Can I meet you at the movie theatre we went to last time in like 45 minutes?”

I checked my watch. Seven pm. I could get ready that fast.

“Sure! Sounds great! See ya soon!”

“Later!” he said, before she hung up. Thank god for Tyler. Just when she thought Ashley was going to ruin her night, he showed up. At least she would get her mind off the brunette for a couple hours.

    Right?

    Ashley’s P.O.V.

Here I was, standing outside the theatre, hearing Aiden ask me for like the fiftieth time if I was sure I was ok with going back to his place tonight.

“Yes, Aiden. I’m sure. I’m a big girl, I can make decisions.” I said, rolling my eyes. I guess it was about time I lost my virginity. I’ve been dreaming about this night forever. It’s just that now, whenever I think about sex, Spencer comes to mind. I can’t get the image of her underneath me out of my head. Whenever I thought about it, electricity ran throughout my body, and I could feel myself getting wet. No! I thought. This cannot be happening. You are straight, Ashley Davies! You cannot like a girl.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by Aiden, who was yelling “Hey!” and motioning for someone to come over to us. I assumed it was one of his lacrosse buddies, out with some whore, but when I followed his gaze, I almost passed out.

Spencer and Tyler were walking towards us.
