    I grab Ashley’s hand and we take a seat on the couch in the middle of the room. "Aiden change the lights." He gets up and walks over to the light switch after flicking a few buttons the lights change from a yellowish to a blue tint. A few seconds later an oversized cake appears in front of me. I laugh in disbelief.

     

    "You guys actually bought me a cake." The man who interrupted Ashley and I earlier speaks. "I told you we were gonna cut the cake, did you think I meant something else?"

     

    I laugh again and pull Ashley closer to me. I search for the words to say when I realize I have none I shrug my shoulders and lean my head on Ashley’s shoulder. Aiden stands up and lights the candles on the cake. They quickly sing me an overjoyed happy birthday. Ashley grabs my hand and interlocks our fingers.

     

    "You want me to cut the cake?"

     

    "No, I’m not in the mood." Aiden stands up and removes the cake from its position on the table. Just as Aiden is rejoining us the door opens and in walks Glen. In his hands I see numerous small bags, which I immediately recognize. By now my high has worn off and I’m itching for more. Glen approaches me and drops and dime bag in my lap.

     

    "Happy Birthday!" I can tell by the slur in his words that he is stoned off his ass. I look over to Ashley expecting to see a nervous look covering her face, but instead I see a calm almost amused expression. Glen walks to the left of me obviously giving everyone some ‘party favors’.

     

    "I’m not going to-" She shakes her head. "Its your birthday, do what you want." The tone of her voice tells me that this situation isn’t bothering her. "Seriously?" She nods her head and an honest smile washes over her features.

     

    My right hand moves for the bag and I stand pulling her up with me. I let go of her hand and lean across the table grabbing small mirror. I grab her hand again and lead her to the bathroom. Once we enter the room I turn around and lock the door. I set the mirror and bag on the sink and reach out for Ashley she steps forward and our lips meet. She runs her tongue across the bottom of my lip and I immediately grant her access. Our tongue battle for dominance for quite sometime, eventually I submit and let her take control. She reaches for the hem of my shirt and I allow her to remove my top. Before her mouth can wander too low I gently push her away from me. I reach over to the sink and open the small bag.

    1. I’m always so nervous when I read your updates. I keep thinking something bad is about to happen. Things keep getting worse for the girls. Ashley is falling for Spencer, who apparently has a drug problem, then they do drugs together, and Spencer’s family is still a crime family, and she probably killed someone. Gaahh! Do you see why I get nervous when I read your updates? Don’t worry, I won’t give up on you, just keep on posting.
