"Dad? What is it?" I asked with conern.

     "It’s about your mother and me…" He started to say. "Things haven’t been working out, we’re getting a divorce…" He said as he rubbed my hands to confort me. But I didn’t understand. Why? What was the reason.

     "But….Why?" Was all I managed to get out.

     "Well you know of Ben right? Her manager." He said, I just nodded letting him know I knew about him.

     "Well, I went up to the hospital today to see your mom and I found her and Ben all over each other…" I could tell this was breaking his heart. I couldn’t believe my mom right now. Why would she do this? To my dad. To us. How could she? Me and my mom were just getting along like we use to after she accepted I was gay, and now she does this?

     "It’s going to be okay dad, we will get through this…" I said reasurring him as I got up from my seat and wrapped my arms around him.

     "I’m so sorry Spencer." He said threw tears.

     "You have no reason to appologize, this is all moms fault. Why would she do something like this?" I asked through rage in my voice.

     "I guess she never got over her first love, if she wants to be with him, then she can. I don’t need to feel this way."

     "I understand dad. I’ll be here. Glen and I will do whatever we can to help support this family, I promise dad." I said to him.

     "Okay Spencer…" He said as he got up from his chair and pulled me into a hug. "I love you." He said pulled away from the hug.

     "I love you too dad." I told him.

     We talked for a while longer when Glen got home. He couldn’t believe it either. He was just as mad at mom as I was. We didn’t know what to think of her after something like this. After talking about it more, I found myself getting more and more upset. I excused myself from the table and made my way to my room and laid down on my bed. Soon after my cell phone started ringing. It was Ashley.

      "Hey." I sighed.

     "Hey babe…you okay?" She asked?

     "Actually no, I’m not okay…" I snapped, I didn’t mean to, but I was just so upset right now that I didn’t know how to deal.

     "Umm okay..did I do something wrong Spencer?" She asked worried.

     "No… look i’m sorry, but I have to go…" Before I let her respond I hung up with her and laid back down in bed.

Ashley’s POV 

     What the hell? I wonder whats wrong with her. She was perfectly fine before she went home, maybe she had a fight with Paula or something. Well whatever it was she didn’t have to snap at me. Oh well, I guess I’ll just call her tomorrow after school and see what happend, I guess I’ll just go to bed then. "Sweet dreams spenc…" I sighed to myself.
