    My first story, please please read and tell me what you think :)

    Walking in the cool night air, Ashley found herself thinking about the same person she had thought of for the past two years. Spencer Carlin had been the perfect girl for her, and although they had never physically met Ashley wanted nothing more than to find her, even after these two years.

    Ashley had met Spencer through an internet posting site, which lead to emails, to instant messaging, to texting, then finally to talking on the phone. Ashley had felt herself slowly but surely falling for the younger girl, something she had no intentions of doing when they had met; Ashley was in a serious relationship with another gir, Mackenziel, Mackenzie going on three years, they were in love even if they were going through a bit of a rough spot. Also by younger girl, Spencer was in fact three years younger than Ashley who was starting her sophomore year in college while Spencer was still in high school.

    Ashley had never thought of herself in being in another relationship than the one she was already in, somewhat stable, in love, and happy; while Spencer was enjoying the single life and was simply living her life.
    When they met they became quick friends, occasional serious talks and being there for each other as much as an online friend could. Ashley knew that she was starting to like this girl almost as soon as they started to really talk, which had started the feeling of guilt within herself, the gnawing feeling that she was betraying her girlfriend who meant so much to her and who she loved very much.

    Lighting a cigarette between her lips, tasting a hint of cherry on the filter Ashley inhaled, the sound of crackling as it burned added to the feel of her shoes against the concrete bringing her back to the present. The faint taste of the cosmopolitan she had drunk earlier was coming back as she smoked, reminding her of her somewhat girlfriend she had promised she would go home to. With that thought in her head, Ashley turned and began walking, heading in the general direction of Morrigans apartment dreading every step she took.

    Pulling out her phone, Ashley sifted through the usual contacts in her phone book, skipping over her two closest friends and stopping on the one name that still had a heart next to it:

    Spence<3 With her mind fueled by the alcohol consumed less than an hour ago, she pressed send.
