Forever Yours – (Chapter: Chapter 1: British Man)
“Watch where you’re going fucktard!” Ashley snapped as someone crashed into her, sending her books flying. “Shit,” she muttered, realizing that she had just insulted Glen.
“Jeez, Ash,” Glen sighed, “I’ve been called loads of things. But never a fucktard. That’s definitely a winner.”
“I’m sorry, Glen. I thought you were Cory or Madison. They’ve been crashing into people recently. Clumsy morons.”
Glen let out a quiet chuckle before bending over to pick up Ashley’s books. “Thanks,” she said as he handed them to her.
“See you around, then?” Glen asked, a smile tugging at his lips.
“I’m dating your sister, dope!” Ashley replied sarcastically.
Glen shot her a crooked smile before heading to class. Ashley shook her head and giggled. Although Glen was an idiot, he had a soft side that no one really knew about. He tended to expose it only to those closest to him – like Spencer’s girlfriend.
Ashley was thrown forward as yet another person crashed into her. “What the fuck is your problem?!” she screamed.
“OMG! I am so sorry!” Madison said, “Oh. Now knowing that it’s you, I am so not sorry!” Madison grinned and stalked off.
Ashley groaned and bent down to pick her books up, only to find that they had already been collected. “Uh, thanks?” she said, looking up at the unfamiliar face.
“I thought you might need a hand,” the stranger said. He was tall and fit – much like Aiden – and was dressed in a Lacoste Polo shirt and an expensive looking pair of jeans. Ashley blushed as she took back her stuff. “Caleb Greene,” the boys said, his voice having the most slight British twist to it.
Ashley nodded her head and turned to walk away. “Do I get to know the name of this beautiful lady?” Caleb called after her.
Ashley turned and smiled pleasantly. “Ashley. Ashley Davies. And don’t think that your flattery will get you anywhere. I’m gay.”
Caleb chuckled, thinking that the brunette was just being coy. “Ashley Davies,” he muttered with a smile as he made his way to class.
