We pull up to school in my black jeep and I can already see her standing there waiting for me, she looks like she’s crying…im seriously tempted to put my foot down and get the hell out of here but I shake those thoughts off and realise ive got to face the music some time. Kyla leans over and gives me a tight squeeze before getting out of the car and making her way over to my girlfriend or ex or well I guess I don’t know what she is right now I just sit and watch Kyla trying to comfort her.
Miles: “Ash don’t you think you should be the one doing that?” she asks softly
Ashley: “Just getting my head together, I really don’t know what im going to say guys?”
Alex: “Well you know our thoughts on the situation Ash…she’s just not good enough for you?”
I laugh out loud at Alex
Ashley: “ Alex you do know I cheated on her not the other way around babe?”
Alex: “Yes Ash im not stupid and neither are you, do you really think you’d be cheating on her every week if you really loved her”
Ashley: “ Not every week!” I add “ There’s only been a couple of slip ups you make it sound like im a serial cheat!”
Miles: “Look babe we love you ok and just want to see you happy. don’t we Al?” she looks at Alex for moral support and she nods enthusiastically “ We got your back Ash just do what you’ve got to do” and with that they both climb out of the jeep leaving me alone with my thoughts.

I find myself standing in front of two girls hugging
Ashley: “Kyla can you give us a second?” I ask politely, Kyla looks at Sophie and whispers something in her ear which causes her to smile then looks back at me before leaving toward the school entrance.
    Me and Sophie are just stood here by the parking lot it feels like its been hours since Kyla left but in reality it had been like 7.5 seconds.
Ashley: “I’m sorry Soph” I say sadly, lame I know but I cant think of anything better to say to the poor girl.
Sophie: “I guess I should be used to it by now” she snarls at me. God what’s with everyone making out all I do is cheat in my defence this is only the second time ive done it…granted that’s still bad but the way everyone’s going on about it you’d think i have a different woman for breakfast lunch and tea every day! Sophie brings me out of my daydream by bringing her hand to my face and slapping it
Ashley: “OWWWW” I bring my hand to my cheek to try and calm the burning tingle. I chance a look at Sophie and she’s got this manic look in her eyes, a look ive never seen before even when things have gotten really dirty in bed and she gets all dominant she never looks this scary!
Ashley: “ Ok I guess I deserved that, and for what its worth Soph I am really sorry about everything about cheating on you, im sorry you had to hear it, and im sorry that its over between us” I finish letting my head hang.
Sophie: “ I never said anything about breaking up with you Ash, I mean im pissed and I mean im REALLY pissed but I love you babe and we can work this out cant we? “ she asks looking at me smiling. Ok what the hell? Too much information for my tiny brain to take in. She loves me??? How? How is that possible I am a complete ass to this girl. Im just standing here looking at her in disbelief, she really is cute she has big brown eyes and gorgeous dark eye lashes that make her eyes seem so intense she has light brown hair swept up in a loose ponytail and the most amazing white teeth you’ve ever seen. Perfectly straight!, I guess it helps when your fathers a dentist! Ive just realised that Sophie is still waiting for me to say something, the bell rings out and Sophie looks at me more desperately this time
Sophie: “Well come on Ash don’t just leave me hanging here” she laughs but it was a nervous one. All these crazy thoughts are running through my head
Ashley: “I’m sorry” (wow im saying that a lot today!) “I don’t think we can make this work Soph” I say sadly, because I am sad just not heartbroken Alex was right I was never going to change until I found someone to love and Kyla was right that I had to leave her alone if I wasn’t going to treat her right.
Sophie: “ Ash please don’t do this” she says sobbing, I hate it when girls cry
I pull her in for a hug but she just swats my hands away
Sophie: “ Just leave me alone Ash ok..just leave me alone” with that she walks into the school entrance and leaves me out here all alone.
