Expect the Unordinary – (Chapter: 11)

    Stacy’s POV:

Thank god school is over I grab my books out of my locker and put them in my backpack.

“Hey Stacy.” Jessica says walking up to me.

“Hi Jess.” I say closing my locker.

“Ready to go?” She asks and I nod.

“Ready as I’ll ever be.” I mumble.

“Ok, let’s go” She replies with a smile and starts walking toward the door.

“So… you and your friends had a fight or something?” She asks.

“Yeah or something…” I say kicking a rock down the side walk.

“Well about what?” She asks when we arrive at my house. I sigh. We walk into my room when I finally answer.

“Well… I found out that uhh… one of them is gay. And I didn’t take it as well as they expected…” She looks at me wide eyed and she drops her books on my bedroom floor.

    “No way!? Who?!” She shouts.

“Um… I don’t know if she would want me to tell anyone…” I whisper looking at the carpet; I think it was a bad idea to bring her here.

“Oh come on Stacey! Tell me!” She begs.

“Ashley…” I say softly, not looking at her.

“I knew it! Wait till Aiden hears about this!” She laughs and takes out her phone. My eyes grow wide.

“No! Don’t tell anyone!” I shout and try to grab her phone.

“What the hell are you doing, this is need to know stuff! Besides aren’t they ignoring you, so it’s not like they want to be your friends. So who cares if the world knows she’s a dyke!” She reasons pressing the send button. Oh god…

“Why did you send that to him?” I whisper.

“He has more phone numbers then I do” She shrugs.

“I said not to!” I shout raising my voice.

“Jeez Stacy, calm down, there’s no taking back the text now” She grins.

“You don’t understand, I needed your advice, not for you to out my best friend!” I yell at her.

“Well here’s some advice, get new best friends.” She shrugs and leaves my house.

“Oh god no, what have I done!?” I cry falling onto my bed.
