DAWN: The unauthorized new finale to the Twilight series
“Bella! Bella stop!” He said. I quit moving and looked into his eyes.
“Edward,” I said shakily, “I understand now. I understand.”
“What are you talking about?” He asked.
“I’m fully on the vampire side. I’m no longer Switzerland. They are hunting me as well. I never really was Switzerland.”
Edward cradled me, rocking me almost like a baby. “It’s alright,” He said, “You are no man’s land.”
“No, Edward,” I said, “I’m your land. I’m yours.”
“They aren’t going to harm you,” He said determinedly, “Nothing is going to harm you.”
“That’s right,” Said Jacob as he slid through the window, “Me and Edward are burying the hatchet to protect you. If you were fully on one side, I wouldn’t care about you.”
He sat on the foot of the bed and smiled at me, and I smiled back. Then I shut my eyes, and fell asleep.
* * *
The morning sun shone through the large window, awakening me to a beautiful mountain view. I looked up at Edward, who was shimmering in the light, casting little rainbow prisms about the room. I felt like I had been transported to a fairytale in my sleep.
“Good morning, my love,” Said Edward, kissing me softly on the forehead.
“Good morning,” I said, stretching.
I took a shower and got ready. What would this day bring? Happiness? The end? I was ready, just let it happen. When I came down stairs, Esme had made me eggs and bacon. I was worried I would gain a lot of weight, the way she was spoiling me.
The rest of the day me and Edward lounged in his room, playing music and laughing. When Edward tried dancing with me, I began to trip relentlessly. Finally, he hoisted me up onto his feet and we twirled across the room, me holding onto his hands so that I wouldn’t fall off.
As the sun began to set, we laid on the bed, looking at the mountains, the peace and quiet ringing throughout the room.
“What was that?!”
A rock had flown through the window, landing on the floor. Edward darted to it. I could see that attached to it was a note. It read: GET EVERYONE OUT. NOW!!
