“so…are you two…ya know…” hayley said smiling at us

“um…no…” we said at the same time

“yeah ok…” hayley said taking the t-shirt out of Spencer’s hands then hayley drew all over it then signed it for Spencer and Spencer’s smile was huge

“thanks!”

“no problem…hey we have to drive about 300 miles tonight, so we have to go…” she said giving me a hug “…but don’t stay a stranger!” she said to me

“defiantly wont…” I said

“and Spencer…take care of this one…” hayley said pinching my cheek

“ow.” I said then hayley laughed

“later you two!” hayley said then we left and when we got into my car Spencer looked at the clock

“so…it’s 11:55…”

“and…”

“and no way can we get back to my house by 12…”

“…so you want to stay over?” I asked looking at her

“is that an invitation?”

“defiantly…” I said smiling at her

We drove back to my house and Spencer couldn’t stop looking at the t-shirt hayley signed

“don’t hurt yourself…” I said laughing at her

“huh? Oh sorry…it’s just, no one has ever done something that cool for me before…”

“yeah well…I guess you’re kind of cool, so it was no problem…”

“kind of cool?”

“ok…really cool…” I said laughing then pulling into the front of my driveway then we walked in thru the back door and as we were walking back the sprinklers kicked on

“shit!” I yelled then Spencer and I ran for the door then I thought to myself and stopped running

“wait…” I said then took Spencer’s hand and pulled her out to the sprinklers

“what are you doing? We’re getting soaked…” she smiled at me with her hair getting more wet by the second and mine too…

Then I took my hand a tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and smiled at her then I moved closer to her and kissed her…her lips were so soft…then her hand found it’s way to the back of my neck and I put my other hand around her waist then I pulled away and rested my forehead on hers

“how’s that for a kiss in the rain?” I said laughing weakly not wanting to ruin the perfect moment

“perfect…” she said then she kissed me again
