“are you out?” I asked bluntly “…I mean…I’m sorry you don’t have to answer that…”

“no…no it’s fine, I’m actually not…yet…I’m just not ready ya know?”

“yeah totally…it’s a big step…you should take your time…and when you do…if you ever need  to talk…I’ll be there…” I said smiling at her

“thanks…but that might not work…”

“why not?” I asked confused

“because I don’t have your number…yet…” she said smiling at me

“well…would you like it?”

“eh…I guess…” she said pulling out her cell phone and I gave her my number and I put her number in my phone

Then we just kept talking

“so what about you?”

“what about me?” I said back

“what’s your story?”

“um…still being written…” I said trying to sound all hot “…no haha but I mean it’s not that exciting, I have a sister…well half sister, Kyla, but she’s awesome…my moms well, really nothing special…and my parents are divorced, so we never see my dad or…our dad, that much…it kind of sucks…”

“I’m sorry…” she said

“about what part? My parents being divorced or we never see my dad?”

“both…”

“don’t be…I mean it was hard while everything was going on, but we’re used to it now…”

“but thanks for caring…” I said trying to make her smile…for most of the night I kept feeling her hand brush up against mine and I knew she was trying to hold it, I mean I’ve done the same thing…so being the more experienced one, I took her hand in mine and intertwined our fingers and she smiled at me

“so to be honest…I was afraid you’d be some freak that mandy just randomly found…”

“…hm…” I said

“…but you turned out to be pretty amazing…” she started “…and totally cute…” and I started to blush

“ha…yeah well…you’re pretty cute yourself…” I said then for the first time our eyes locked and I couldn’t help but move closer to her, because this seemed like the perfect time to kiss her, and she didn’t move away, if anything she moved closer…

We were close enough for me to feel her breath on my lips then her phone started ringing

“fuck…” she said in a whisper that I felt against my lips

“you should probably get that…” I whispered

“yeah…” she said picking up her phone “hello? Ok…no we’re like 5 minutes away walking…ok, I’m coming hold the fuck on…bye…”

“she drunk?” I said smiling

“oh yeah…”

“well that should be a fun car ride home…”

“oh tons…” she said then we stood up and I took her hand in mine again

“so…listen I would really like to see you again…”

“…yeah, I’d like to see you again too…”

“cool…” I said smiling “…listen do you like Paramore?”

“yeah I’m kind of obsessed…”

“ok, well I have two backstage passes to their concert…do you wanna come with me?”

“yes!” she said “…are you serious!”

“well yeah…” I said smiling at her then she gave me a hug then I walked her to the car the three of them had to get into and the two of them were in the car already “…and as far as that kiss goes…you owe me…” she said in a flirty voice

“yeah…defiantly”  I said biting my lip then I opened the car door for her

“call me later…” she said

“for sure…” I  said then they drove off

Well, that was a first…actually liking a first date…this should be interesting
