Chemicals React – (Chapter: 15. It's in to be out)

    “You okay?” Spencer asked concerned

“No, yeah I’m fine. So anyway my friend who was coming
to pick me up for the party I guess was calling my phone but
I didn’t hear it, so she came up to my room to get me. And
saw her on top of me, she freaked. Ran downstairs and told
my mom and my mom’s boyfriend, they were watching a movie
    in the family room.”

    “No way” Spencer said shocked

“Oh yeah, so I don’t know what to do. I mean I didn’t
even know what I was or what I was doing and now I had to
deal with other people knowing and judging me. It was all so
confusing, I thought I was going to pass out from all the
yelling. I mean my mom was yelling at me for embarrassing
her in front of her new boyfriend, my best friend was
yelling, Rachel before she was kicked out was yelling at me
and my best friend. I don’t even know how that night
ended, I just remember crying myself to sleep and waking up
the next morning in the same clothes I was in with my eye
    makeup all messed up.”

“Aw, babe, I’m sorry” she replied

“No, you don’t have to feel sorry for me, I mean it
brought me here and to you. I always knew that one day I’d
be grateful for what happened, and you make me feel
    grateful”

    “Wait what? How, why?”

Ashley laughed “Because, don’t get me wrong it sucked
at the time, my mom sent me to therapists and when they
didn’t tell her what she wanted to hear, she’d send me
to another one, she blamed my dad’s death and the fact
that I craved attention. That’s the only reason I’d put
her threw it. She thought that I was a lesbian to get back
at her. My best friend wasn’t really a best friend and my
other friends were just her puppets so they followed her.
But if none of that happened I mean I wouldn’t be who I am
today, here with you. Ya know what I mean?”

“I guess, that’s a very positive way to look at it”
Spencer said “But I’m still sorry that you had no one to
    turn to when it happened”

“I’m straight up gangsta, you know this. I can handle
my own” Ashley said making a peace sign

    Spencer laughed, “Only you”

“No but seriously, I turned out okay, at least I think I
did. What do you think?” she asked

“I think you turned out just fine” Spencer replied
planting a kiss on Ashley’s cheek

“I mean everything that happened, I believe brought me
to where I am today. And if that brings me to you, then I
    have no regrets”

    1. I don’t think I like the every other perspective thing. At least in a conversation, because it doesn’t seem to make a difference and it gets a little muddled. Umm, but yeah. pmasp!
