“Hmm what to wear” I say as I open my closet door,
preferably something that says “Back off bitch, she’s
mine” but I’ll settle for “Hey, I’m here for the
party”

I start pacing back and forth in my room, toweling my wet
hair hoping to come up with something to say to Matt when he
finally calls me back.

“Hey Matty listen, I like girls. It’s been real, peace
out” I mutter “Matty hi, the penis is overrated” I
start laughing at my ridiculous idea of a break up speech.

I sigh in frustration and throw the towel in the closet,
how am I supposed to do this? Sure I’ve had my share of
break ups but this was different, normally I’m the one
that’s the brokenupee…is that even a word? There’s a
knock on the door.

“Just a second” I reply hoping that whoever this
intruder was on the other side of the door didn’t hear
what I just said

The person didn’t wait for me to get over to the door and
it swung open. And awesome I’m in a towel.

“Oh, sorry we didn’t know if you were up yet. We’re
going to get breakfast do you want to come?” Nicole asks
me
“Nah I’m good” I reply waiting for her to ask me
where I was the night before
“Alright, you crashed so early last night” she responds
to me

Did I miss something? Do they seriously think that I slept
here last night? Oh well this is much easier then I
anticipated.

“Yeah, I was so tired” I reply yawning, trying to add
to the effect
“How was your night, Michelle said that you were with
this new guy?” she asks, clearly trying to pry information
“Oh it was, good. Interesting.” I respond as I open my
closet and look for something to wear today. Something that
says “I’m just innocent, don’t hate me for breaking
your heart” I wonder if an outfit can say that, I’m so
lost in my train of thought that I almost didn’t hear
Nicole’s question.
“Uhh his name?” I respond biting my lip “His name is,
Adam” Lie
“Hmm cool, and you like him?” she asks me
“Yeah, Very much” I reply… understatement of the year
“Aw cute, and Matt?” she asks… I didn’t realize
that I was going to be interviewed on 60 minutes this
morning
“I actually just left him a voicemail, so hopefully
he’ll call me back so I can go talk to him” I say back
“Well good luck with that, I’ll see you when we get
back, bye love”
“Yeah bye” I say but the door was already closing
